When I received this lantern, I thought it would be a wonderful dual camping/home source of light until Ireceived the item and saw a cancer warning on the outer box. The lamp looks to be of decent quality as far asmanufacturing. Made in China. Not willing to take the cancer risk.

I purchased these lanterns because they are rechargeable. They took a while to charge up. When charging starts the red light comes on. When fully charged the green light comes on. You can adjust the brightness, which is nice to conserve the battery. Bought them for hurricane season here in Florida. They charge with UsB cord. So I can recharge from the car if power goes out. Too soon to say how good they hold up. Right now they charged up fine and light is good. I think they will hold up ok. Solidly built for the price. Hope this helps everyone.

I bought two of these to put in our glamping sites we rent out and they are so great because they put out enough light, are rechargeable, and seem to last hours and hours before needing to be recharged. Our 3-year-old uses them in her room for her nightlight. The light it gives off is dimmable, via a knob. The light it puts out isn't terribly obnoxious and bright with white light. Really happy with this purchase!

So I ordered this because we like to do a solo stove fire with our neighbors and sometimes serve drinks or food which can be hard to see if you're away from the fire a bit. Well Hubby pointed out that this might attract some bugs so we never really used it for our fire pit nights. I put it at my bedside and it is the best little nightlight! Easy to recharge with the USB and a lovely little glow that we enjoy. Might order another for hubby's side. Great green color and durable since kitty has knocked it off the night stand a few times without any damage!
