Quality... Perfectly weighted, bearings are top quality, wood handle is comfortable, and easy to disassemble to lubricate or replace bearing. Buy it! Avoid the impostors at a lower price.

Must needed item if installing vinyl base. High quality, easy to use, and nice on your hands and wrists.

I'm installing a rubber membrane roof on my house and the recommendation is to use a 2 in dia. steel roller for sealing the seams. I found this one on Amazon and am blown away at the quality. Between the machined roller genuine wood handle and 3/16in. bracket and ball bearings it's made in USA which gives me a worm and fuzzy feeling. I was a machinist and fabricator and I know quality. This is it.

This is an excellent product, very sturdy, and does what it is supposed to do very well. I bought this thinking it would be critical to applying butyl tape on my camper roof. Turns out, I was wrong, butyl tape will adhere to a vinyl roof quite easily, and all you really need is a plastic spatula to make it adhere. I ended up not using it much.

I needed a quality roller to install sealing tape (Eternabond) on the roof of our RV. Amazon has many choices, but I decided to try Everhard, made in the USA. Oh my gosh is this thing amazing. Who would think you would get excited about a steel roller. When you pick it up it's heavy and solid, then spin the roller and it spends smoothly. It's built like a tank. I highly recommend this if you need a quality tool to secure sealing tape or similar.

I bought this roller to apply some Eternabond tape to the top of the camper and this roller did a great job. The tapered end works really well in getting close to weatherstripping and such without leaving a crease in the tape. The roller is also fairly heavy, which is a good thing when applying this tape since you do not need to press down so hard. I have heard of many other people using plastic rollers for this application only to have them snap. You will not have that problem with this sturdy roller. The only reason for the 4 stars is due to the fact that after leaving the roller in the camper for about a week, I returned to find a light coating of surface rust. Easily removed, but I was expecting it to have some sort of a protective coating on the steel to prevent this. Just keep a light coating of oil on the roller when not in use and you should be good. All in all, I'm very happy with the roller and would recommend it to others.

This is a great, solid, best of the best roller for eternabond or other RV roof tape! The entire roller head is heavy solid steel with ball bearings. Even the mounting bar that holds the roller to the handle is a full 1/8" thick by 9/16" piece of steel. I know from other reviews to make sure to spray the roller down with WD-40 or some other oil so it does not rust(not a big deal). The main reason that inspired me to write this review is in hopes that I can prevent others from overpaying. Let me explain. When looking for a roller, I initially purchased the roller that looks identical in the picture but is "branded" Eternabond. The only reason I decided on that one is because they state that the roller head is 2 1/2" wide verses this one being only 2". When I received the Eternebond roller, I figured out that the 2 1/2" measurement includes the mounting nut. I immediately ordered the Everhard roller in hopes that it wound be as good of a roller because it is cheaper. Well, I now know it is the exact same roller. When I say this, I mean that Everhard makes the roller for Eternabond. When compared, both rollers looked the same with the exception of Eternabold being printed on one. They looked so identical that I took a closer look and it became 100% clear. The same manufacturer is stamped on the metal bar that holds the roller to the handle. The stamp on both reads "Everhard Canton, OH USA". It is great that both are made in the USA but bad that some people are getting sucked into paying almost five and a half dollars more for the same thing just because it has the Eternabond name.Needless to say, I am sending the first and more expensive roller back. The reason is principal, price, and the deceitful exaggeration in roller head size.
