I purchased this little playhouse for my ducks. It was definitely easy to put together and highly recommend getting the floor. Seal it if you want it to last. She sure is cute.

The Evermeadow Playhouse by Big Game Hunters is a delightful addition to any backyard. The wooden construction is sturdy, and the design is charming, making it perfect for toddlers. While it's a bit on the smaller side for older children, it’s still a wonderful space for imaginative play and outdoor fun. Assembly is straightforward, and the quality is excellent. Overall, a great investment for younger kids!

I'm using this for my chicks while they are ready to be outside and meet with our older chickens. This house is the cutest thing! The wood is thin but will do the job. It was easy to put together also. I got it without the floor and we had a piece of plywood cut to size at the Home Depot. It was a lot cheaper to do that than order it with the floor. We added the metal roof also

Can we just talk about how cute this wooden playhouse is and how it can function as a multipurpose house for animals, chickens, and kids? I just got this today and wanted it as a DIY project for my Nigerian dwarf goats for extra shelter. The instructions for building it were amazing. I put together things all of the time and have for years. These instructions were probably the best I’ve seen. Just prior to this, I built a duck barn for my ducks and those instructions were terrible not to mention holes that didn’t line up. I wish I would have bought this for my ducks instead of that other one from Walmart. This is super durable. I did seal the roof as there were some cracks and I don’t want water to leak through it when it rains. The longest process was painting it and I added the number three to it to make it pretty. I would highly recommend this item. I think it would be cute for a chicken coop if you added a roosting bar and some nesting boxes inside. You can paint it and decorate it so many ways. It’s great!

Unfortunately, the roof has already started to leak, despite being less than a month old. In addition, the boards are separating and the door has broken. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this house and would not recommend it to others. I hope that these issues can be addressed promptly in order to ensure the safety of this playhouse.

This little playhouse was a present for my daughter’s third birthday. I’m impressed by how cute it turned out. I found it very easy to assemble. The instructions suggest two people, but I was able to put it together in a couple hours without my husband’s help. It’s small, but it matches the listed dimensions. With some paint and accessories, it was the perfect addition to our backyard to help our little one’s imagination soar. It likely won’t last long enough to be an heirloom keepsake, but it seems sturdy enough to last well beyond when she will be done playing with it. Overall, we were all very pleased with it!

This worked out perfectly for us as a duck house. Much cheaper than a coop that you would buy from a store and more practical for ducks because it doesn’t have the perches or high rise walk entrance you seek in a coop for chickens. It was also fun to renovate using extra materials we had after doing other projects around the property!I definitely think it is too small for a toddler (would last maybe a year) and certainly wouldn’t work well as a shed to store pots or garden items. Would be cute as a decorative item if you had a large garden. However, it has been great as a duck house and I have no regrets. I did reinforce the floor with leftover bathroom flooring and painted the outside and added a metal roof… I wanted it to hold up to the mess that ducks make and weather. It’s been a couple of months now and the structure is doing very well and the ducks love it. I would pick this over a standard chicken coop anytime if you are looking for a duck house and something that is cute for the yard!

The house is adorable ! Gave it 3 stars because of the low quality of wood used. If you live in south florida for example you can’t have this outdoors because it will fall apart in 3 months due to our rain and humidity. However I purchased it to convert it into a chicken coop. we framed it with pressure treated wood all around and the original wood that remained exposed was sealed and painted . The roof is not waterproof so we added metal panels to make it waterproof. Overall we made it work ! I didn’t buy it with floor since I was going to add pressure treated wood floor to it! If being used for kids it’s tiny my daughter is 6 and she could barely stand inside . So perfect for younger kids for sure !

Cute small playhouse for up to 5 years I’d say. Older kids can still squeeze in :)The roof leaked and I put shingles on top. Looks even better.

It wasn’t supposed to arrive for a few more days but arrived today and is already assembled! It’s a tad better than I’d expected because I didn’t think it came with real windows (plastic) but is otherwise what I expected and I’m pleased with it. No, it’s not as sturdy as my real house but for little kids it’s definitely sturdy enough.Assembly was easy and the instructions were good. They recommend it with two people but i had it done in just over an hour by,yself and suspect most people do it solo. It’s too small for me to enter so I’m going to take it apart again so I can paint the inside. I got it with the floor and do recommend that. It adds to stability and looks great.I’m going to “trick” mine out with shake shingles, flower boxes and curtains but it really is fine as it comes though clearly needs paint and weatherization before outdoor use. It would make a great doghouse!Only criticism would be the price. The materials are fine and surely couldn’t be much stronger given the size. Nonetheless, it’s not that much material and would be inexpensive for a computerized system to cut and package. Still, I don’t regret the purchase. Grandkids are going to love it!

A wonderful little prefab playhouse for the grandkids that was easy to put together and is so cozy inside. We placed it on a pallet and added some cedar shingles on the roof to keep it dry over the winter. The grandkids love it and are busy decorating the interior.

The house is adorable (make sure to look at dimensions -- a little smaller than we presumed it would be) and it was a pretty simple set-up! Definitely need two sets of hands. The wood isn't THAT sturdy so we expect it to last only a few seasons but will for sure put some protective coat on it to keep it safe during the winters. Regardless, it's exactly what it looks like and a pretty good price for what it is!
