This paint is just what I needed to brighten up an old outboard that the previous owners had neglected for 14 years.

Great coverage but I had to use a BETTERNozzle off another brand paint can

I repainted my 35year old motor (1991 Johnson 48hp SPL). This paint laid down easy and had no runs. You need to paint the first two coats super light (almost just a dusting barely covering than a regular coat). Wait 8min in between coats and it will come out fantastic.I needed two cans and about 4 coats to do these and finished with a 2k clear.Very happy with the results and so far it holding up to abuse.

Color was good match, fast drying, nice finish, BUT nozzle is poor, would spatter and cause run if not careful.
Great and fast

Despite the date range on the can, it was a perfect match for my 1999 Evinrude 225

New lower drives come in black. The original white covered the black very well with one can

This is good coverage and sticks well to bare lower units, not polished mind you but previously painted areas with now exposed metal chips, cracked/flaking paint. Great color match ('83) and a quality paint. One word of caution if you go a little heavy on your first coat, allow paint to cure if you spray over again as it can cause significant cracking/spider web cracking of the thick paint spots that haven't completely hardened yet. (A metal/paint trait of good paint). One can or two will vary on motor size and the amount of scuffs. I did a battled 50 horse cowl, shaft, lower and prop with almost 1 can. Got a second and will keep for touch-up.
