I like the fact that it is reversable and can fit in a hip camera bag. There is a positive click as it locks in place. I changed to this as I have lost a screw on type that has come loose and dropped off.

It is a little tricky to get on end of lens and does interfere a bit with manually focus ring. But does seem to fit ok for the money. Its suppose to cut down sun glare to the lens. You could use a ND filter to get the same effect. Leaving it on makes a tighter fit in your camera bag also. Just want to point out these minor issues. Again not a very expensive add on its fine. You could invest your dollars into extra battery(s) or filters I.e Circular Polarizing or ND filters. Hope this helps. This purchase was for my EOS Rebel T7 w 58mm kit lenses.
