Clutch is harder to push down. Not a huge difference but you'll notice it in stop and go traffic. Clutch makes slight chatter at rest.Paired it with Competition Clutch 2-800-STU Flywheel, fits perfectly.Clutch grabs nicely. Make sure you go 500 miles without hooning to break the clutch in. Highway driving is fine, just drive like a grandma.Installed on my 2002 RSX 5 Speed.

Fit my 04 tsx perfectly and paird really well with an exedy racing flywheel. It was a breeze to put on and compairing to my last cluch (which has seen better days from the pic) and throw out bearing which gave out causing alot of damage to my bell housing and pressure plate. Really impressed with the response im getting with the clutch very grabby lolOem all the way

My first thought was over priced but I saw a “used/open box” for $200 and that’s what it was just open box everything was there no damage ... installed took 9 hours... clutch plate looks like stock just different material and upgraded pressure plate..slight difference over stock... shifts way better at high rpms a little rougher going into first over stock clutch.. let’s see if it holds up ... I hope it does!!!! 2009 civic si ... if you don’t have a somewhat sporty car .... go stock

I wanted to break in the clutch first before I wrote this review! I bought this clutch for my 2002 Acura RSX Type S. This clutch is definetly one to get. Make sure you get the HF02 racing flywheel as well. You won't regret it, I promise you. After my clutch was going out I kept looking for the right one for my car. All the reviews I've been reading around about all other clutches have lead me to get this one. IM 100% SATISFIED WITH THIS CLUTCH!! It took me 2 weeks to break in the first 500 miles and feels really good. I killed it a couple times but now I got the clutch now. Thanks Exedy for this great clutch. DONT forget the HF02 Racing Flywheel!!!!!

I had this clutch installed at my local Honda Dealership. This clutch vibrates the car and has a squeaking sound when in park and while driving at low Rpm according to Excedy's website the 6 speed manual transmission does not require the lighten flywheel to use this clutch only the 5 speed needs the lighten flywheel due to less surface space. So I had the OEM Flywheel resurfaced. I wanted something a little stronger than OEM because I have some performance parts on the car but this one DEFINATELY was a poor choice, lesson learned!! I miss the OEM luxuries of no noise or vibration this is not a well balanced clutch, do yourself a favor and just go OEM and if you want a better than application don't go with Excedy.

I can't express how awesomely satisfied I am with this product.I drive a stock 08 Civic Si. I had the 3rd gear synchro replaced at 17k (these cars are notorious for that). After 17k miles (now at 34K), the transmission started to feel sluggish and the 3rd gear grinds would occasionally occur regardless of how careful I was (I would say I'm gentler on my car than 80% of SI drivers). With the Exedy Stage 1 clutch mated with the Exedy HF02 flywheel ($250), the car is an absolute joy to drive again. The transmission feels nice and clean, shifts are smooth as butter, and the 3rd gear grinds have gone away. The increased force that the pressure plate now has along with the 13 pounds shaved off with the new flywheel make the engine substantially more responsive. The engine used to hesitate with rev matching...that doesn't happen anymore. The car (with virtually no torque) gets squirrelly under 1st gear. Can't express how happy I am with this product. Spend the extra $250 on the flywheel. It's worth it. It's made me realize how awful the stock clutch and flywheel are.
