The globe it self has nice detail in the text as well the borders, but once you flip the switch and turns on the light it shows you all the constellations and where they are in the world. It also act as a great night light and has a nice glow for a dark room

I can read the names clearly. The colors and texts are good for the eyes. If I buy a bigger one, the price would be higher. This is affordable and work well for me.
