Come disassembled. When you open the package which was sealed like King Tut's tomb, these tiny springs and screws go flying everywhere. Can't believe it was assembled.

I didn't really need the cold shoes, and the little "adapter" screw it so lightweight/plasticy that I never use the free ones, they aren't big enough. The cold shoes use tiny screws to tighten on the base of your light, so be careful if that's the intended use.I bought this to use the screws to mount LED wands directly. They work pretty well for that, although I had to add extra cushion on one side. The screws seem strong, and the bracket seems well made and decent adjustment.Cold shoes need replacing with better quality and toss the little "adapter" screw in a drawer.

These fit Two flashes perfectly. I’m a wedding photographer and hate having a bunch of light stands in the background. This worked perfect for my flash and my second photographers flashes to be placed on. Only downside was the tiny spring was missing when it arrived on one of them. But it still works without it.

Totally hard to clip your flash in. And when you do, you’ll never be sure if it will hold. I pulled it out to use for the second time last night at a reception and it totally busted. There was a tiny spring that fell out of it and I couldn’t find it anywhere. My couple was about to cut their wedding cake. I don’t have time for crappy gear... So now I can’t even use one side of my double mount. I’ll have to try to contact amazon or the seller for a refund. I’ve got to find something of better quality!

This works well for holding my speedlights, but the umbrella screw is very unreliable, I have tightened completely to my umbrella shaft and it will be sitting completely still and somehow lose grip on the shaft and my umbrella falls. This is a safety hazard in my sessions with newborns and just in general. If it had a crescent support at the end of the screw that holds in the umbrella, it would work much better. Unfortunately, this might go in the trash and I'll have to fork over extra cash for a better design.
