I don't use it everyday and had physically attach it to my table. However when you need to make those repetitive cuts you will be thankful. It is solid and durable a cabinet makers dream. For the DIY people it will pay for itself in saving lumber.

First: as an old-school machinist, I have to say that the build quality of this thing is excellent. Bearing seems robust, and fitment tolerances are RIGHT & TIGHT, although movement of the parts remains smooth. As far as use: this thing is pretty much essential if you're cutting slats or thin strips for things like dovetail box bottoms on a band saw. I was able to take a 7/16th piece of scrap doug fir and cut it down to three 1/10th in. (2.4mm) slats effortlessly and safely. For the price, I'm beyond satisfied...

I really wanted to purchase the WP thin rip guide, but could not justify the cost. Bought this at a fraction of the price and crossed my fingers. It has worked perfectly. Sturdy, yet easy to adjust. Holds firmly in the miter slot on my sawstop table saw. Highly recommend!

Comes with no instructions, but logic steps in pretty quick. The setup for table saw is a little tricky to get aligned, but not impossible. Some viewers have complained about when tightening down on the table saw, the front of the unit rising up. There are three holes in the rear, and moving to the middle prevents that from happening.Overall, for the price a very good unit, works well.

Bought this for my DeWalt jobsite table saw to make some rips and help keep boards pushed to to the fence while cutting. NOTE: this does not fit the channel on the DeWalt jobsite table saw deck. These come with the T-Slot adapters, so you will either need to order some square connectors compatible with this jig or just modify your existing push guide rail that comes with the saw. I just mounted this jig to the original push guide railing that came with the saw (the push guide that sits in the channel and has the angles on it. If you want to do the same thing I did than you will need to get and tap it with a M6-1.00 tap. Worked perfectly after that was done.I Was having issues with wood wanting walk away from the fence while pushing the wood through. Sometimes when I go to adjust my hand position to grab the wood further back after running out of room to keep pushing it. It. It would sometimes come off of the fence just enough to screw up the rip cut. Well this jig helped me eliminate that problem by keeping the wood pushed tight to the fence while making the long rip cuts I needed. It also produces clean and even rips all the way through the whole cut. Made a bunch of 1/8" shims and they are true all the way through from start to finish. Also great for making long miter/beveled rip cuts aswell. But only if you have a square edge to start with. If you try to cut a miter or bevel on a piece that already has a miter or bevel, forget it. It doesn't work well on pieces that already have a miter cut on it. Just start with a clean square edge and your good. All in all I'm very happy with this jig. As it does more than job.
