OVERALL- 3.5 Stars.FRAME- 5 Stars (assembly takes a little while but not difficult)Sturdy, well constructed frame (survived a tree falling across the back of it!).NET- 2 Stars- stringing any net does take some time. The surrounding backstop and overall stringing will likely take about 2 hrs. The net itself is NOT UV resistant and will deteriorate within 2 years- see image. This is from weekly usage over 2 years. Once the net needs replacing it will rip and create nylon particulate which you'll want to avoid breathing. When replacing the net, I'd recommend cutting the lacing that you use to secure the net vs cutting the net directly to avoid creating the nylon particulate.Overall, I'd expect the frame to last, and the net to deteriorate within 2 years.Would I buy again? Yes, but I'd just purchase the frame without backstops and find a different net (just replaced the included net with Velocity heavy duty 7mm-polyester)

I was very hesitant on price , Leary on net , but when I recieved , very happy and pleased ! The netting held well . I have all ages wiping balls in , all good lacrosse players and all held up , except my strings holding net , went with zip ties , many broke , but the nets it self held up great , took on so tough shooting . So just make sure if you go with zip ties , get good strong zip ties . The strings are hard to get tight to keep nets tight , so I went with zip ties , but need better tougher brand , I didn’t cut the ends of the zip ties , because they would of been sharp edges , I’d advice not to cut your ends off , leaving them long they are smooth will not be sharp around your zip ties . Very pleased and recommend.

Whatever genius made the directions needs a psych eval. Absolutely nothing makes sense. They give you bundles of rope of all different lengths and it’s up to you to guess on where they go. Good luck! If you dare to purchase, set aside an afternoon, and a case of beer; you’re going to need it.

I read other reviews prior to purchase and expected the assembly to be a pain, but honestly it’s not that bad. I would definitely recommend this goal with the back stops. It is a great training tool for my son. He is able to target the corners without fear of missing the goal and having to chase balls. Folds up nicely when not in use.

It took longer to lace it than to assemble. Folds up flat. Seems like it should be a great practice aid. Hopefully they use it. All 3 children shot on it last night and today. Here is to wearing it out.I have looked at this for about 6 months and finally bought it. Wish I’d bought it when I noticed it.

Got this for our son so he could practice lacrosse in the backyard. It’s perfect. Easy to put together, a little time consuming but easy to do. It’s a great size, the sections on the side really help. It is sturdy and the netting is strong. The corner pockets are a nice addition.

Firstly, I’d like to lobby Amazon for the creation of a product category that would require prior authorization from a second parent before the order is able to be placed. The second parent being the one responsible for assembly.Quality: 10 out of 10. The powder coating and quality of finish were mint. In addition, despite being “made in China”, it’s clear the product is not some knock off straight from the Big ROC Candy Mountain. The clearest evidence of that is the instructions, which are notably missing the typical mutant Times New Roman font, and instead look like a print out from a dot matrix printer that has been run through a Xerox machine 70 or 500 times. You young bucks will have no idea what that means.Assembly: unless you are a New England coastal fisherman from the 1870s who makes a living mending fishing nets, prepare yourself for 5 hours plus in the hurt locker trying the weave this thing together. Stock the cooler with ice and cold snacks and embrace the pain.Summary: this is a quality product. Once assembled, and that’s the key caveat, it could be a family heirloom that you should be able to pass down to your grandchildren (if that’s still socially acceptable nomenclature by that point).

I bought this goal in April. My 2 son's use this net almost everyday. If it's not lacrosse they are using it as a soccer net. My kids are 6 & 8. So they are not ripping shots, but shoot on it a lot. Having the side and top section is key. less time chasing balls. The side re bounder works well. The net after 2 months is holding up very well. I put this together myself and thought it was pretty easy. Attaching the netting is the most time consuming part. Take your time and follow directions. I love this net and have recommend it to all my sons teammates. It's easy to move especially when mowing. I also love that it can be folded and stored flat against the wall in the garage. No regrets on this.
