IT WILL NOT FIT CURVY, HEAVYSET MERMAIDS. It's like Asian sizing and will not match American sizing. I bought it based on one picture in reviews that made it look like a larger girl could wear it. Waist and thigh width estimates are needed on this product. It ain't panty hose where general sizing works due to stretching. Okay, this is a pretty product that includes a nice matching print swim-bra, so if you are a slim girl with mermaid fantasies this is the suit for you. HOWEVER, the one star here is for sizing. I'm a true 5'2", 230lb curvy large girl. I wear a 20-22 American size in pants, XL to 2XL, or 16-18, in tops, dresses and swimsuits from Amazon. This wouldn't go over one of my legs, it never got the chance to try and cover my well filled out belly and backside. To be a true XXL, they would have to double the waist size and width of the product. People say it will stretch, but I didn't even attempt to do that to an item I would have to send back for someone else to try when I don't know if it would stretch back. Be careful girls, ladies who say they are 200 and up pounds but 5'6' inches or over, have a completely different, slim body type from those of us around the 5' mark. Also, on the point of returns, they put the bar code across the sticky closure on the bag opening so it had to be broken on opening to clue in the next buyer the product had been opened. That was also annoying.

This tail photographed beautifully! It is well constructed with additionally detailing that is uncommon at this price point.I am 5’4” and 130 lbs and ordered a size large since I have wider hips/butt for my size. I did have to sew a dart right above my butt because it fit a little too large, just in that one spot.Keep in mind that the tail is spandex (not scuba knit), so it will take in water which adds additional weight. For that reason, I would not recommend it as a swimmable tail, especially if you aren’t a strong swimmer. It also takes a long time to dry.The tail has a hidden zipper near the ankle that can be used to insert a monofin or to slip your feet out and “penguin-walk” somewhere. Waist has a drawstring that ties on the side and tucks in.Overall, very pleased with this purchase!

I like the quality, material, and the vibrant colors. I ordered the biggest size(2xl) and it’s a tight fit even after it stretching a little in the water. If they could make them a bigger size for us plus girlies then I’d recommend it as a first time tail with a monofin. It will fit a lindin monofin. I did swim in it twice and it’s slowly getting unstitched so definitely wouldn’t hurt to sew it with better stitching and such.

Got the 2xl an glad I did. The legs are tight at the ankles. There is a zipper on lower right side for fin to go in. Small hole about an inch in mine just above zipper where it wasn’t sewn completely. Not a tear. I’ll hand sew it. Has a draw sting too on the right hip not centered. Threw me off putting it on. But I got into my pool and shimmied into it a little at a time. Now without the fin you can open your feet a bit to the side an create a small stabilization. You can get pretty fast in it. I ordered a second one too. Got the light blue which is hard to see in my pool as it’s blue linered. I got the multi purple a the black lines coming and a fin insert. I honestly didn’t want to take it off an seam around an hour an half with it comfortably. You can stand in it (no fin inserted remember). And while it doesn’t really stretch there is a little give in it. The bra top isn’t bad but the string they used for it does dig in so I took that off but might use the cups and attach to a bra to complete the outfit.

Very disappointed in the paleness and discoloration it has compared to the picture. I was expecting a green tail. Not a poorly painted one. I am 5ft 4in bought a Large and it fits perfectly snug on my two legs, but the bottom fin is ridiculously huge!!! I give it 2 stars for speedy delivery and nice fabric. But reducing all my stars for poor quality and zero love for this making this tail. I will have to make my own modifications to this poor tail back to life.

I ADORE these tails!!! I have The Mahina monofin from Australia and these fit perfectly! I LOVE swimming in these! The zipper in the flook makes it easy to get any monofin inside. I swim at least once a week either in the lake or in the local saltwater pool. Once I get my underwater camera I'll upload a video or two☺️. I love hearing kids cry out "Look! LOOK!! A mermaid!!! 🥰 I just wish they had more than just these four to choose from.
