I bought the 16oz for sparring. It feels great, but its a little bit stiff and i dont think itd be fun to take a hit from this

Amazing gloves, love everything about them one small complaint the dye bleeds out of these gloves as you sweat …if you have an opponent with white gloves, it will look like there is blood on their gloves or on a white shirt (not a big deal) other than the dye bleeding out of the gloves they are excellent

I love these gloves. Not only do they look fantastic and open up way more than boxing gloves, but they are very light as well. I occasionally compete in tech-sparring competitions that require 16oz gloves and I feel much more comfortable using this pair than other bulkier 16oz gloves.

Been using these for a few months now, although these are not as bulky as other 16 oz gloves they do seem to offer the same padding where it matters. The leather is high quality although the color finish will fade a bit. I recommend treating with leather gel every couple of weeks to keep it hydrated.
