The axolotl design on these socks is super cute, and the calf length is correct (they hit just below the knee). The material also feels unlikely to snag.On the other hand, the compression is a bit odd (the foot area seems tighter than expected, and the calf has to stretch quite a bit to fit around my leg, meaning that the compression is no longer graduated as it should be). Also, the foot part of the sock is much too long. When the heel part is on my heel, the toe hangs off the end of my foot. If I fit the toe part correctly, the heel is up near the back of my ankle.I'm disappointed. Obviously I knew these wouldn't fit like properly measured prescription compression socks, but they fit poorly even compared to other big box generic socks.

The pictures make these socks look much longer than they really are. The description claims they are graduated compression socks, but I don't see or feel any graduation in them. The length is also really too short to be graduated; they are about the same length as pair of crew socks. They certainly didn't come anywhere close to my knee and would not on anyone but a child; rather, they hit just below my calf. I did find them to be fairly tight-fitting, though. The cloth was kind of coarse feeling but not unpleasant. I was disappointed that, while wearing them, the design faded and became hard to discern due to the stretching of the cloth.

I bought these more for the fun scientific pattern than for the compression, but they're good on both counts. The socks are well contoured and apply a substantial compression; the pattern stretches out a bit upon wear but is still visible/legible. I will say the pattern is fairly dark with respect to the black background, so these are a bit more subtle in person than they might appear in the product photos - great for the office in that respect.

Fashion Compression Socks 15-20 mmHg For Women And Men --- Typical compression sock. Somewhat difficult to pull on. I would be suspect of the quality if they were not difficult to pull on. Fit very snugly as they should. Fit to just below the knee. Fabric appears to be quality and sewn well.

I have other 15-20 socks and these feel tighter on my legs than those. I still could pull them up (without rolling) and you can see how they stretch around by altering the pattern on my calves. They fit nice and snug. I read other reviews stating the foot was not sized correctly. I found these fit me just fine with the heel and toe in correct proportion. For reference, I am 5'6", 125lbs, size 7-7.5 women's shoe and my calves are 13.5 and 12.5 inches and ankles 7 and 7.5 inches. These come up under my knee and there's no bunching behind when I bend my leg. I'm new to compression socks so not sure what to really expect or how to tell if they are correct. I can say the stitching and seams look nice and the color out of the package is vibrant. We'll see how the shades hold up after washing. No instructions for care but it is my understanding it is best to hand wash or wash on gentle and air dry to preserve them. I like the pattern and they feel good but also questionable since they come in plain unmarked packaging.

This is a nice pair of compression socks. They fit true to size, give a snug compression. The fabric is smooth and snag free. The design is perfect for a chef or monkey. They are a good quality and hit just below the knee. The heel placement is in the correct location and they are comfortable for all day use.
