  • DRILLED RUBBER STOPPER: FastRack bungs come with a pre-drilled hole in the center sized to fit all standard-sized airlocks. The rubber bung is tapered for a better seal holding the airlock securely in place. There is a curved lip on the bung to stop it from accidentally sliding into the fermenter. Our rubber bungs have many uses in fermentation; including beer brewing, cider and winemaking.

  • HOW IT WORKS: Plug the carboy stopper into the mouth of your carboy or fermenter and then insert the airlock. This will create an airtight seal that prevents oxygen contact during fermentation. The airlock will then let CO2 escape while preventing oxygen from going back into your brewing vessel.

I was worried by the amount of reviews saying it was not drilled or drilled incorrectly and product was not rubber but I received exactly what I thought I was getting.

Only one needed, but cost wasn’t too extreme and maybe in a few years I’ll require another one if I ca find out where I put them by then. Lol. It would be nice if the stopper was ready cut, as rather tricky cutting into this dense rubber. All in all things went well and the birds are happy to have a secondary place to drink and bathe.
