Use this for tying flies for fishing. The length was good, also the color was consistent throughout. I would definitely buy again.

I looked everywhere for this product and i couldn't find it at any of the Big Items stores like Dick's, Bass Pro orCabela's, the price for the amount of material you get is unbeatable.

This material is really good, but it is definitely not Bucktail. It is waterproof and that is it's failing. Bucktail absorbs just a bit of water and so helps my chuggers hang in the water correctly. Also, the material tangles in the treble hooks and won't release as well as the natural bucktail does.Having said that, it does have its uses. It is great for tying inverted streamer flies that you would like to be somewhat weed free. It is also very easy to work with.I tie buck tails to run separately from my treble hooks on my bass chuggers so that is why I only gave it a 4 star rating. It is good for everything else I have tied with it.

The product is fantastic, the color does not look red at all. It looks orange.I contacted the seller and he was wonderful. He took the time to look at the product and compared it to the orange. He agreed that it did look a little more orange than red. All of the others I have are true to color and are very durable.
