These always have to be changed out when servicing your trailer wheels or sometimes a good bump in the road can knock one loose. I like to keep these stocked up and readily available. These are the perfect size with a nice access rubber for your zerk and to check on grease. Great value!

If you have a trailer with EZ Lube bearings and 2000#-3500# axles, get a pack of these and carry with the trailer. I lost one recently and had to get one from a trailer parts place. You will need a rubber headed mallet or a hammer with a block of wood to tap this in.I have a trailer spare kit that goes with my trailer; bearings, seals, tang washers and these covers. When traveling, I check my trailer usually once an hour. I use an infrared kitchen type thermometer to check bearing and tire sidewall temperatures. Those are indicators of something about to go wrong…
