What an excellent idea of 1) repurposing the space under a side table and 2) repurposing the top of a dog crate! If you, like me, already was using the top of your dog crate as a place to throw clothes, well, this might just be for you too. It’s a hefty, big package, but easy to carry each piece to where you want the crate to go. I do recommend building it where you want it to sit as it is very ungainly and might not fit through some doorways. It comes with all the hardware as well as Allen wrenches and a double ended screwdriver that (wonderfully) is lightly magnetized to hold your screw. That comes in handy in the very first step.

This crate is great. We have a “den dog”, one who loves to take a time out away from people when things get hectic. This sits right next to our sofa, so she can go in there and feel safe, regroup, and then join in when ready. This crate looks great, has USB ports which is great if it blocks a wall plug, and is nice to rest beverages on. It really works well in our house. Happy dog, happy pet parents.
