Better to use these on your Vortec heads then the factory plastic gaskets - these will not fail ……Fel pro 1255 dual bolt pattern. You can use them on all the older small block chevys as well….

Felpro Vortec intake gaskets are the best for aftermarket Vortec intake manifolds. Don't use the factory GM gaskets with your aftermarket intake they will just fail. This Felpro gets the job done

I was concerned about intake gaskets since I am using a weind stealth vortec intake on this motor build and they don't look a lot like the factory composite intake doesNo worries folks if you are doing the same retrofit type build get these gaskets and your good they work well

These are great. I had converted my 97 Vortec 305 to a carbureted aftermarket intake. After only 4 yrs the factory style plastic intake gaskets started leaking oil and water plus I had vacuum leaks. I installed the Fel-Pro gasket material style and this cured the issues. I will never use those plastic style gaskets on any of my builds ever again. Also as a side note , do not use the silver silicone sealer that comes with the factory style gaskets- it doesn't bond well and eventually leaks at the end rails.
