Got these for my mom's xterra. Fitment was great, install wasn't too difficult. Old gaskets were dry and cracked - these cured the valve cover leak.

The only issue i had was one grommet missing the metal washer, easy fix, used another washer of similar size and thickness. This is not for the average do it your selfer hence the lower easy to install rating. This is still an easy task just take your time and take pictures is my advice. Also the straight hose in the back of the manifold dont waste your time just get a sharp knife and replace the hose save your time and frustration.

Perfect fit and no problems at all.The flat part of the gasket sits in the valve cover while the beveled part will be on the head.No rtv is needed or recommend.The grommets are better than stock as when they are compressed they cover a larger area.The only negative review about the grommets is because it was installed upside down.The metal part of the grommets should be up when installing.

This was helpful in fixing valve cover leaks on my rig. The gaskets themselves have a great high profile that seats nicely when all the screws are torqued down properly. The grommets included are a little smaller than the original and are single pieces rather than rubber inside of the metal cover plate. This setup actually works a bit better than stock and it is quite easy to get the covers to seat tightly and prevent leaks. The OE setup allowed the valve covers to get loose as the rubber dried out and shrank as the cup washers limited downward torque.

A little pricy for gaskets but no room for errors in fit when job is 5 hours to replace. Felpro was kind of cheap insurance. Everything fit perfectly.

You can't really go wrong with Felpro. In my experience they are better than OEM and last longer. There may be cheaper products out there. For the small cost of a gasket I really suggest one goes with the best. This particular kit is complete with the rubber compression washers that help maintain the correct pressure on the valve cover over time without over torquing. Make sure you replace these. You'll notice the old ones will be probably be hard. If they are harder or harder than the new ones they will not do their job and the gaskets will leak.

Great part for my xterra but I didn't care for the screws and washers. They are a soft rubber compound for the washer which made it actually impossible to torque correctly. I found that strange but I think I managed to complete the replacement without any ill lasting effects.
