Can't have enough of these handy glides. In fact, I keep a small sized set in place on my furniture so I can move it easily whenever needed.

Theses sliders worked great on my living room furniture. I’m a woman over 70 and I could easily slide the large loveseat across my vinyl planking floor.

I just had my hardwood floors refinished and am paranoid about scratching them up prematurely, so felt on every piece of furniture was essential. I have some of the sick in or tap on felt, but I have one bed with metal and plastic on the bottom, and the stick-on stuff wasn't going to work. Enter the Furnigear felt sliders! These are a single unit, with a decent layer of felt solidly glued to a layer of dense foam. I used all of them on one bed, as it has for corner posts and also 4 posts down the center. I will shift them toward the middle of the bed, so they are a little more out of the way. These are big enough to fit any pieces too large or with awkwardly designed feet that felt pads won't work on.They are incredibly easy to place, since there no adhesive or other fasteners to fuss with. You do have to be able to lift the corners of your furniture, of course, but can nudge these into place with your foot if you are coordinated. Removing them would be just as easy, but I'm going to leave them in place. They do permit easy sliding though I have only used them to move things a few inches for positioing. So far there no evidence of scratching, my floor still looks pristine.

I have a desk that I use hours a day, every day sitting atop some furniture sliders that I got decades ago that work incredibly well. Several times a day, I effortlessly move the desk back and forth on carpet (the seating is fixed so I move the desk when I get up and need extra space). There is minimal tipping of the desk as I push it, sliding couldn't be smoother.I figured I'd get some new sliders rather than temporarily redeploying those old sliders whenever I have other furniture to move around. Unfortunately, these new ones are too flexible and have curved edges that are too small a radius to slide smoothly on my carpet. Just looking at them, the foam is thinner, is off center on every one of the sliders, the plastic is much thinner. The desk with the laptop, keyboard, misc. papers, books, etc. is light enough that I could just lift it up to move it instead of sliding it, but even with a lightweight item, these new sliders don't seem able to handle the load properly. I can slide it around with the new sliders, but it isn't what I'd call smooth and it can dig into the carpet and cause the desk movement to stall and tip more severely than with my older sliders. I will not be leaving these new sliders under my desk for daily desk moving duties.Trying the new sliders out under the big, heavy couch on the same carpet, these new sliders surprisingly worked better than I expected. Still not as smoothly as the older ones I have, but they work acceptably in that application. This brings my rating from 3 to 3.5 stars, but I'll round up to 4 stars. For folks looking into this type of product, I'd suggest looking carefully at product photos (or if applicable, in person) and see if the plastic looks thick, has a larger/taller radiusing, and foam pads that are centered (if only as a sign of quality control).
