Excellent pickups for the money. I replaced a set of worn out pickups from a custom 60s Telecaster (I can save the original pickups, thankfully), and I am not disappointed. Very smooth pickups with a little lower output for the perfect tone. Turn up the gain on the bridge pickup, and it can get pretty rowdy. Just what I want from a set of Telecaster pickups.

Original pickups weren't bad, but I wanted to try for a more 'vintage' sound. These delivered.Easy to install if you have basic soldering skills. Needed to replace the neck pickup screws as the heads on ones supplied were small and almost slipped through the holes in the pickguard. Some reviews commented on short wires. Although there wasn't a lot of extra slack, they were long enough to work with. This also eliminated having to stuff away the extra wire when replacing the control plate.

I didn't appreciate how much difference a good set of pickups can make until I got these. They are so much better than the Classic Vibe 50s pickups.

I bought these to swap out on a Vintera 60s modified. I've hated those pickups since the guitar arrived. These 50s seem good so far. They sound pretty run of the mill. I think the best sounding tele pickups I've bought so far are the Fender Pure Vintage, but these are decent, especially for the price.

These typically sell for a bit less than other Fender pickups, but they sound really nice! Nice warm sound on the neck pickup and the bridge is bright and snappy!

The screws provided for the neck pickup do not bite on the pickup adjustment holes. Terrible design, and difficult to work with. I had to clamp the screw hole bushings to get something for the adjustment screws to bite into.Neck pickup wires are too short to reach the control cavity with enough wire to work comfortably.Fender sucks, hands down.
