1. Try to remove the plastic from the pickguard and pickups.2. Remove the strings.3. Using a cloth, apply furniture oil to the fretboard.4. Apply some household oil to the nut.5. Put on quality strings.6. Tune it.7. Raise the treble ends of the pickups.8. Now it plays and sounds great.

The workmanship on this guitar is well above the level you would expect from a guitar in this price range. I have two acoustic guitars, considerably higher priced and name-brand, and the workmanship on the frets, neck, and other points is far better.I opened the box, tuned it up, and was amazed at how well this guitar feels and sounds. I am truly impressed with the playability of this guitar.

The packaging that this Guitar came in, was horrible. The box was tore up cracked up. Guitar was barely able to stay in the packaging. I didn’t bother to take the Guitar out and even try to play it. The packaging was so disgusting. Totally unprofessional you folks need to do better. A lot better. Fesley is a great company. You are the distributor and your distribution facility at face value is a farce. This is actually The second Fesley Guitar I ordered the first had a broken guitar neck. This one had horrible terrible unprofessional packaging! Once again, you folks need to do better!

I was turned onto this guitar from a review by a YouTuber I trust, but I was still very skeptical, considering the price range.When I opened the box, my skepticism was immediately quashed. The guitar looked, felt, and sounded great even before I plugged it in. Its natural resonance is excellent and snappy, with great sustain, and the chords ring true. The action and setup were spot-on, and the fretwork is better than most higher-priced import guitars. It is very smooth, has no fret sprout, and has a great roasted maple neck. That, paired with the Wilkinson pickups and hardware, definitely takes this guitar out of the "cheap" range into regular rotation for me. I'm a pro player with almost 50 years of experience playing, performing, recording, and doing guitar tech work. The only adjustment I made was making the bridge flush instead of free-floating and putting some good strings on it. Boom!I'm really pleased and glad I grabbed one of these... You better get one before you can't!

Pretty solid guitar for the price. No construction/build/shipping issues with the one I received. Strings are trash! Electronics all fully working, sounds pretty good. The Grover G2 tuners hold, smooth operation - smaller than expected (lighter?) Hefty weight for what I expected, no neck dive.After changing strings (regular slinky 10s) the bridge pulled pretty bad and I had to really tighten the spring/claw more than expected to maintain tension on the light gauge strings.All in all I would recommend trying one of these out for a beginner or mid-level player looking for a strat-style workhorse.

My reply to the Sender of this Guitar- the Guitar itself was as expected, although some (most?) people would probably prefer a clip on tuner rather than a few of the added items, Also finding a model of the same with a set Bridge instead of the tremolo might be preferred by some (I know that doesn't reflect the traditional "Strat" style but it might bring more sells possibly ? as many players tend not to use one cause they will stay in tune better.), I did have a little trouble tuning up the first time but that is expected. Overall the Guitar sounds great and I love the push/pull split coil feature.

The Fesley FST1000 Ghost Series guitar is an absolute beast of a super strat. Outta the box it needed a truss rod adjustment but after that this guitar plays fast, so many different tones with the 5 way selector toggle, and also has split coil feature by lifting the volume know. The floating tremolo bridge is as level to the body as I've ever seen on a budget guitar. This guitar can sound good playing anything from metal, to rock, to blues, to clean tone with finger picking, and yes it will easily CHUG playing through my Boss Katana 50 watt modeling amp Gen 1 playing on the Brown channel setting and even on the Crunch channel if I boost the pre amp gain to about the 1 o'clock position and beyond. The frets are level, the fret ends perfectly smooth, the nut was cut perfect for the string height, and the floating 2 way bridge is sturdy even when dive bombing as the perfect spring tension brings it back to perfect level every time. The fit and finish on the sunburst model I bought was perfection and the roasted maple neck looks amazing because it contrasts with the dark rosewood fret board. The 2 string trees hold the guitar in pretty good tune after breaking the strings in... Price to performance this super strat is in a class of it's own...Best budget guitar I ever bought and I don't even like calling it budget guitar because the Wilkinson M-series pickups are fantastic, the bridge/tremolo system is rock solid, and the Grover G2 tuner are buttery smooth...I HAD TO COME BACK FOR AN UPDATE.+++ After having truss rod adjustment done a few days later this guitar is back to buzzing on the frets "AGAIN". I have contacted Fesley by Email but have not yet got a response...Bummer. Had to lower my rating on this guitar as my problem has not been solved. If I don't get a response back soon I will be returning this guitar and possibly ordering another exact copy hoping that it will be set up appropriately being playable out of the box+++. This is a great guitar ( I love it actually ) when it is playing without the frets buzzing but something is definitely wrong with this neck or the truss rod is not able to stabilize the neck appropriately!!! Also the guitar cord they sent in the box was all static and unusable when plugged into my amp...My high end guitar cords worked fine so I know it wasn't the output jack on the guitar...To Amazon: I used my same E mail that you have on record to contact Fesley for help with this issue. IF Fesley doesn't respond its not my fault for returning this guitar...
