I have had a little experience working with fiberglass and epoxy, but, this 4 oz fiberglass cloth literally disappears when the epoxy is applied. I am building a wooden boat (16" long). I first put down a base of epoxy, then, lay the fiberglass cloth and work it into the epoxy with a roller. I then apply a top coat of epoxy over the fiberglass and it disappears. The wood grain shows through clearly. I work out any bubbles and let it set overnight. It seems to work better if I apply the fiberglass in smaller sections of about 3 feet by 2 feet. The next day the epoxy has cured and a light sanding before a second coat of epoxy is applied. I covered the whole bottom of the boat but it took me about 4-5 hours to complete working with the smaller pieces in sequence.

First, the product itself is fine. It wets out nicely, cuts cleanly and does what you need in a lightweight FG cloth. The shipping was fast and the plastic bag and box were fine but the issue I have was that when my order was cut from a bulk roll by the Seller, they secured the loose end of the roll with several wraps of clear packing tape. Before using the glass cloth that tape has to come off and it significantly distorts the weave of the cloth for the first one foot width of the glass cloth material. I'd suggest something with much less adhesion, perhaps just simple masking tape. That way the first foot of cloth isn't ruined. Otherwise this is a great product and price.

This stuff was pretty easy to work with. You can easily cut with scissors and after epoxy, it sanded as you would expect. It is almost completely invisible after epoxy. I would order again if I have the need.

Fiberglass fabric lays nicely, wets out fast with no bubbles, could have been better rolled but otherwise very happy.

My husband is building a canoe, this his second one. He used this fiberglass cloth on both of them. Beautiful finish on both worked great.

Shipped and packaged well. Some fabric defects. Unfortunately they did not go away when submerged in the epoxy, and so are visible in my clear epoxy over wood. Next time I'll cut them out and lay a patch the hole.

Good product, nicely rolled up, no kinks or pulls, delivered to my house, ready to use. I'm building an epoxy/glass-skinned wood boat, and the epoxy resin turned this glass cloth clear--can barely see it. Exactly what I wanted.
