  • General Purpose Laminating Resin – This advanced ortho polyester resin works for repairs and new construction. Secures fiberglass fabric, composite materials, woods, metals, and other fiberglass surfaces to increase strength, resilience, and long-term durability.
  • Easy to Layer Application – Our polyester resin stays tacky between layers and provides a reliable hold. It does not require sanding between layers. Use our finishing resin or a wax for a tack free finish on the last layer.
  • Versatile Application and Fast Wet Out – A fast wet-out means you can apply this poly laminating resin easily to composites and FRP parts including cars, motorcycles, boats, marine vehicles, bathtubs, surfboards, and other DIY composite projects.
  • MEKP Catalyst Included – This poly laminating resin kit includes MEKP hardener to help control gel time for a strong finish. Adjust the hardener quantity depending on the desired gel time, from 1 tsp/quart for slow gel to 3tsp/quart for fast gel time.
  • Handling Temperatures - Application: 70°F - 95°F for resin and work area. Store resin in cool, dry area out of direct sunlight in temperatures below 77°F.

We developed Fiberglass Warehouse Ortho Polyester Laminating Resin with catalyst to help you add a sturdy layer to every project to keep it from breaking down over time. Boat, auto, RV, aerospace, surfboard, base coats and general purpose fiberglass laminates are all great uses for our polyester laminating resin.

What makes this product special?

The fiberglass resin kit comes with 4 gallons of Polyester Laminating resin and 4- 2oz of hardener. Mixed together, these elements form a premium lamination formula that allows you to protect a wide range of surfaces. The resin gallon is very easy to apply and has a tacky finish so there is no need to sand between layers. Just add a wax or use a finishing resin or gelcoat for the final coat!

This stuff is the real deal. The description is dead on. Remains tacky between coats making it super easy to lay up.

Shouldn't these gallon bottles be filled with 4 quarts?I had calculated that I would need 3/4 of a gallon for a task and used a whole bottle. So I looked at the remaining 3. They all seem consistently underfilled.On the bright side, I've used 12 bottles already and had no problems with the resin itself.

I used this for a transom rebuild. Easy to use and cures quickly with the correct amount of MEKP.

This resin was clumpy a quarter of each gallon had hardened clumps . It was a mess to strain and use the remainder.

It cures tack free and needs to be sanded in between layers if you let it cure for more than a few hours.
