The system can set up as fast or slow as your needs require. Great adhesive qualities. No bubbles in glass.

8 drops of hardner per oz so you can mix it in little batches. If your in a hurry use a heat guy on it and it will harden really quick. Dont get it too hot or it will crack. But its much better than bondo, I got a really good lesson about that on this bumper repair. Easier to just fiberglass both sides and use the orbital sander with 80 grit. levels it out in seconds and doesnt crack. Its a value for sure!

At the time that I write this there are 7 ratings but essentially no reviews. Let me say first that I am making a galley box and cubby panel for my small sailboat. I am doing so while outside temps are 0 C or 32 F. My wife is out of town with family so I get to do this project in the nice warm dining room. minutes ago I finished glassing 2 panels 18"x14". Yesterday I was using up some cheap polyester resin (starts with B and ends in O) on 2 other panels 14x13.5 - so those were smaller and should have been easier right? NO WAY! This stuff wets out SO much better, faster and easier. It is thinner and I can watch it wick into the cloth as I lay it. In fact I brushed it thinly onto my plywood panels first before laying cloth and it started to wet the cloth right away. I did not have to do even half as much stippling and brushing and the lower viscosity meant that the brushes lost fewer hairs and when they did it was so easy to remove them! I had to force the other brand into the weave with stippling and even dumped more to get the cloth to wet out. The difference in results are astounding. With the "cheap" auto parts store resin you can clearly see the areas with more resin or less on the surface which would be problematic and require much more prep work and additional product to achieve any respectable result. THIS stuff however just goes on so smoothly and evenly - the cloth is wet but the weave is still apparent which means I am achieving a better resin to cloth ratio! Resin does not make your project strong - the glass does that - resin only holds the glass in place so when weight is an issue (it always is) you want to use the least resin that you can. So that "cheap" resin that I bought months ago to do a quick project would not go nearly as far as this stuff by Fiberglass Warehouse. To be frank I chose this resin because it was one of the less expensive options compared to the brands you see on YouTube videos and since my project was not life-critical I was willing to experiment. I am so pleased I tried it! My background is in Aircraft Maintenance so as an A&P I sometimes made fiberglass repairs and I have even made wings for experimental aircraft but even so I would not call myself a professional fiberglass guy yet I have no doubt that a total newbie would get very nice results using this resin using only techniques that he viewed online. I don't do many reviews but the difference this resin made for my experience was really exceptional. I am planning some how-to videos but have not published them yet. I am not affiliated with this company in any way nor have I spoken with any representatives. When I go through with my plans however I am likely to showcase this product even if it means buying it with no sponsorship. I paid for this 1 Quart bottle myself (and by the way the bottle is way better for pouring, storing, and clean storage than metal cans could ever be). I will upload pics if the site allows me to as soon as my parts have cured - yes I am so jazzed I did not wait even that long to review it! Oh by the way I noticed that the smell is not as strong as that other brand so that is nice too. I really have nothing bad to say about this resin. Easy to use, economical (in more than one way) to use, a pleasant experience with great results I can be proud of without breaking the bank. I may add more later.
