very nice kits. plenty of thread to complete the picture and the threads are very close to the colors shown in the picture. although satin stitches are very basic I think some stitches such as the rolling needle stitch are more complicated for beginners and a video would be needed to see how to complete that stitch. I also changed the satin stitch in the mistletoe kit for the leaves to a leaf stitch. I like the look better. also I changed the rolling needle stitch in the christmas box kit for the angel wings to long and short stitches. I think it looks better than the rolling needle stitch.

I am slowly teaching myself how to embroider and this kit was perfect for that. I am learning a lot and the patterns of the two pieces are such a cute one. Once I finish I plan to gift them to a family member.

I think that I have embroidered in the past as a child, but I do not remember it clearly. I am an experienced fiber artist, but I wanted to pick up some embroidery with the option to add it to some of my projects where appropriate. This looked like a nice set with some pretty flowers. The word translations in the kit are rough, so I did not rely on any of the instructions nor did I try to translate the Chinese. I just went to YT to view samples of the various stitches and other techniques. The kit itself does appear to have everything promised and everything you need. The embroidery floss colors match the photos roughly and are good enough. Note that the two embroidery loops in this kit are plastic so I plan to reuse or recycle!

This is a beautiful set of embroidery projects. Each design is clearly printed and gets its own hoop which is great! The kit(s) also include little scissors (although a bit dull), a threader and extra needles. The hoops are plastic and comfortably adjustable. They hold the cloth well so you can more easily control the stitches. The projects are designed to incorporate a variety of stitches keeping them interesting without being overwhelming.There are clear instructions accompanying each kit along with illustrations. I’ve done a lot of kits and this has everything I look for. I like the colors, the patterns and the materials - all good and recommended.

I've started to get back into embroidery again, and I wanted to begin with a simple kit that is not overwhelming. This kit of two designs is perfect for that. It comes with TWO plastic hoops which is nice when you lose interest in one project and need a break, you can go to the other project.The kit includes everything needed, including color photos of the different stitches used. There are six different stitches, all basic and uncomplicated. I learned to do embroidery when I was 7 and faintly recall these stitches, none gave me trouble I advise an absolute beginner to watch a 3-minute YT video if they have any questions. But overall, these are simple stitches and the photos are self-explanatory. The embroidery floss is not the silkiest, floss that I've seen on the market, but then again this is not an expensive project that requires a high-end floss. There is more than enough floss provided for the projects. The designs are printed in easy-to-see cornflower blue outline. Nothing difficult about this.I'm pleased with this order and think at $11.88/current price it's an excellent value.
