I think what you'll find this headgear it works really good for children. Really safe and comfortable. We've used it for a couple months now and my son loves it. We used to have an old one that was Lisa. It was kind of a mess. Here would get tangled in, but I like this one it's Velcro and easy to adjust Fivestars

I got this headgear to give me a little extra protection on my cheeks. This headgear has been ideal for all sparring. Light, hard, comp sparring; perfect for all. It does take a few sessions to really break in and hug the head. But once it does, it’s money. It also has great ear protection for those loopy hooks when you forget to keep your hands up LOL. We’ll see how durable it is in the long run but right now it’s perfect.
