I absolutely HATE swapping and adjusting the typical three straight knives in jointers. Didn't realize swapping the head was this inexpensive and I'm so glad I did it!Install is a breeze, plenty of vids on it out there. You probably don't need a three jaw gear puller and could get away with some pry bars.Noise level is legit cut in half, no more ear pro!Cuts are lightyears cleaner.Best of all, no more hours wasted adjust straight knives, just rotate the carbide cutters.Save your sanity and spend the money.
