Place one in a tall glass and fill with boiling water. Let stand for a minute or so, then remove by pouring in a sink. Pick it up using a gloved hand, then lube the inside with hand soap and water. It should slip on with just a few twists...The soapy water will dry and the grip will stay mounted

Wasn’t sure I’d like these but I wear out the soft ones since I lean on them so hard.

These are old fashion bicycle hand grips. Stiff but flexible vinyl-like material. I warmed them in warm water for a few minutes to soften them up to install them on my old wheelbarrow with 1 inch diameter handles. They slipped on easily and once cool have not moved.

Good quality, heavy duty, ribbed grips that I used on my cement mixer. Fit perfectly over 1-inch tubing. Just placed them in a pan of hot water to heat them up and sprayed Windex on the tubing. The grips then slid on very nicely and when they cooled and the Windex dried they are there for good.
