We bought these as precautionary measure. We have one in the kitchen and one near the outdoor grill. They seem easy to use and are easy to move from one space to another. Definitely worth the price.

I bought a set of these and hung them around my house. One I hung on the bag of my cabinet door next to the stove using a command hook. A few weeks ago, we were cooking chicken in our toaster oven, and a silicone rack handle fell directly on the heating source. My husband noticed a fire burning inside the toaster! I turned it off, pulled the blanket out of the red pouch, and put it directly on the fire, which stopped immediately. I then pushed the whole blanket into the toaster and closed the door to keep the smoke contained until I could bring the device outside. The blanket has a small discoloration but is totally fine and can be used again! The toaster, too, was fine after a thorough cleaning. I'm so grateful for this blanket...it quickly extinguished the fire with no chemicals or minimal disturbance. My children, who were only a few feet away the whole time, barely knew anything happened.

This look like something that will be good to have around the grill. My sons and son in law like to grill. They are each getting one of these for Christmas.

I have to be honest and say that I have never had to use this product but I sure do feel more secure with it right in my kitchen by my stove. I bought one for each of my family members for Xmas. Affordable and a good gift

These fire blankets are small and inexpensive. Buy several to keep handy for use in kitchen, car, or garage. While small, the blanket will smother most fires before they get out of control. And if a fire is too big for this 40” blanket, you probably ought to call the fire department and get yourself to safety.

This is a fire blanket, so I can’t tell how well it works. But I can tell you that the bag Is seriously heavy construction the tabs are readily accessible to remove the fire blanket. Sure beats the mess of the fire extinguisher. I’m pleased. This fire blanket is up to the newest code, and is waterproof. The price is terrific for a set of four. I bought one for the kitchen, one for the BBQ, One for the van, and one for camping.

These are quick to deploy and they don't take up much space. Hopefully I will never have to use them (that's why only 4 stars instead of 5)
