This pair of FISKARS All Purpose Scissors is very well made and sharp. It is light weight and the handles were made to conform naturally with your right hand. We use it to cut open snack packages, letters, threads and many others. The steel seemed to be well heat treated and the edges hold up well after quite a bit of cutting miscellaneous things in the kitchen and throughout the house. Highly recommended. I am always impressed by Kiskars products and their axes are excellent too.

these seem like good quality scissors, they feel resonable in my hand and aren't loose and floppy. As a 40 year old male my fingers fit fine into the holes. I am generally cutting paper or opening packages with these so I don't have any comment on how they cut fabric.

Unlike the herb cutter scissors that I bought three days ago. This actually cuts and doesn't struggle with the most simple task a pair of scissors should be able to do. Which is actually cut through already shredded paper. When my paper shredder stopped working. I wanted to buy a pair of scissors so I can temporarily do it manually in the meantime.I could take a bunch of paper and easily cut through it, whereas I struggled with a herb cutter scissors. This is not a cheap (scissors) that you usually find at a local dollar store for a dollar. I also have some very old dvdrs that I wanted to shred through to tiny little pieces. It cut through that mildly easily. It should have no problem with cardboard.The only nitpick that I have for it, is the comfort. If you are tasked with cutting and destroying multiple wads of paper or plastic dvdrs. You might get a minor skin burn on your thumb. They do still feel relatively comfortable, but for doing a large project, I found out that even with gloves on, I still got minor scrapes and skin burns. But more particularly from cutting through old dvdrs I'm trying to destroy.

We use these as everyday scissors. They are a good weight and feel sturdy. They are sharp and cut easily. So pleased with these--definitely recommend them!

They cut things quite well. I use them for gift wrapping. They even do the thing where you start to cut the paper then just slide the blade forward and they slice the paper with ease. Lightweight, which I wasn’t sure about, but turned out to be a plus wrist comfort-wise.

These are basic 8" office scissors - no bells or whistles, no fashionable design or custom color - but they are comfortable to hold and use. The tips are sharp and line up perfectly (I bought some previously that didn't). Great price, too!

I bought my first Fiskars (the orange one) from an Ace Hardware store, and have been a fan ever since. I used the orange all purpose one for EVERYTHING and one day I misused it and bent it a little. So, I replaced it because it was worth a second round. Now, I bought these lovely gray all purpose shears for my office desk, and they're everything I wanted!!! The same, "ever sharp" hardened steel blades, the wonderful gray-neutral and comfortable handle, and hinges which don't come apart (I'm not really into the come-apart style). These are just perfect scissors!!! I feel great now that I have them. And I realized I can get the all purpose kitchen type which I spoke about already ---in gray, too!!! So, I will do that next, so I can keep the scissors out ---against my stove hood where I have lined the edge with a bunch of magnets. I have a bazillion kitchen tools up there, completely encircling my stove hood, and a pair of Fiskars would be great up there, too, considering how very frequently I use them. Thanks, Fiskars for absolutely wonderful scissors!!! These new desk scissors will be loved for years to come!!!

These scissors are very sturdy & really sharp. The handles are also very comfortable when using them. I would recommend them.

Si vous ne connaissez pas ces ciseaux je vous assure que c’est un EXCELLENT produit. Certe le prix et très élevé mais à l’usage ont comprend pourquoi. Ils sont à la fois d’une précision redoutable et d’une robustesse rare surtout dans cette gamme des petits ciseaux.Alors oui ils sont cher mais ça vaut vraiment le coup. On en a trois à la maison dont certain depuis plus de cinq ans et on ne les a jamais aiguisé. L’essayer c’est l’adopter.

Razor sharp and very comfortable to hold and manipulate! Excellent for getting into tight corners and around sharp curves! I can't speak to how well they will work with fabrics as I only use these for paper, but I suspect they would do an excellent job for that as well! I'd most certainly buy another pair if I needed to - though hopefully, with a lifetime guarantee, that won't need to be done for many years to come!
