My generator has always struggled under load, I swapped out the carb and as soon as it started it was obvious what the problem had been. Direct replacement carb, only took 15 minutes to swap out. Runs like a champ, no bogging when the heavy draw from our sump pump kicking on.

Fit my Sportsman 1400/2000W generator and worked like a charm on the first try, no adjustments at all.

Carburetor works fine. I lost the work because the USPS delivered 3 days late!

Perfect fit. Very reasonably price. Generator firedright up after several pulls....and then started on 2nd pull there after. Just like the good Ole days.

A quality after market replacement that arrived and had gaskets and hose to renew the damaged ones. 10 moments and the engine started on first pull of the cord. No more starting fluid required. Thanks Amazon for finding quality companies that give quality products at exceptional prices.

This bolted right up after and worked great after I didn't drain the gas for four years on the generator. Fits as it should and runs perfect. Now if I can just remember to drain the gas so I dont have to buy another one.

So this was an exact replacement for my Sportsman 2000 watt small generator. But apparently the factory of the generator does not have good and tight adjustments to the governor. After installing this carb it started on the 2nd try after opening up the fuel screw a tiny bit. But the generator ran at FULL SPEED. Messing with the linkage to the gov cause the gov to slide internally and it no longer worked. It's not the carb's fault! After readjusting the bolt on the governor to the linkage, she ran perfectly... Great Deal for a carb. If your governor gets out of whack from movement while removing the linkage, search for the title "How to properly set the fobernor on a small engine - With Taryl" on Youtube. He'll explain how to recalibrate the internal weight fly wheel to the governor shaft that the gov. arm is secured to. It's an overly simple adjustment and once made the gov will regulate the speed based on load.
