It’s good quality but there was no way I could get my Pug to cooperate for the length of time it would take to get him into it, especially on a walk. I wish I had a video of me trying to wrestle him into it🤣

While residing in a three-story home, I tried to have a fire escape plan for the second and third floors. I purchased emergency ladders for the windows, but was concerned about how I would manage to get my Scotties out of a third floor window, as they are between 22-30 lbs each! I’ve looked at other harnesses but they just seemed to make the pups uncomfortable, and with boy dogs they don’t like the strap running between their legs. These were great because they had a hole for their tails and they put them on like they do their harness, one foot at a time and zip up. We’ve practiced putting them on and walking around in them, and they seem pretty content. They don’t try to jump out or wiggle much. I purchased a size smaller for the dog in the photo, as the size I had him in for the photo was a bit too big. He is 22lbs. I got the larger one for my 30lb boy. If I had to I could put one on my back and on my front to descend the ladder…it would be a lot, but better than leaving my babies to perish! The only reason I took a star off was because the straps are kind of uncomfortable and difficult to tighten up. I don’t like that they hang down. You can tighten them, but it takes some maneuvering, unlike my travel north face backpack. Make sure to have a plan for your furry friends in the event of an emergency…you’ll be glad you did!

Product size is really good. And my dog is comfortable in it. Just one thing, the clip holding the two straps, you need another person just to clip it, because after picking a dog, one cannot just 0ut their hands behind to close the clip. Product is strong. Also, while making the dog wear it, keep the dog on a table or a bed, so your spinal cord is not injured while putting the dog facing front or back.

Finally a carrier that works for our dogs. We have two and pugs and like to hike. The pugs tire out easily and don’t do well in the heat. We’ve purchased and returned many different brands and styles of carriers. Pugs are stocky and heavy and don’t fit in most carriers, this one is perfect and is comfortable to wear unlike a lot of others I’ve tried. If you have pugs, Bulldogs or Bostons this is the carrier you need and the tactical look was an easy sell for me.

I can tell you this is well-made. I did have to return it because my dog is almost 40 pounds and his weight was hurting my back. The fact that I was able to get him in it, put it on and have it be comfortable aside from the pain in my back, was great. Makes me think that this item would be worth it for someone with a better back or a lighter dog. This is the first carrier I have found that was actually able to fit him in it. He is very skittish when it comes to things like this, but he actually allowed me to put it on him. It fit him great, he did have extra room to move around but it kept him in one position and comfortable. Would die again if I got a smaller dog.

This was a nicely made backpack for your dog however I was fooling myself to think I could carry around a 35lb dog on my stomach.

These are made of high quality materials and are made really well. They seem like they will hold up for a long time. The only suggestion that I would give is that they need more padding in the bottom under dogs bum and in the shoulder straps. We resolved those issue with some memory foam. However, I would recommend buying this product, it really is great!
