Worked perfect to replace pex connectors in our camping trailer. Easy to install with just a hair dryer to heat the pex hose. And I like that you can hand tighten if a leak starts. No special tools needed. So far no leaks.

In my quest to perfect my little camper, I bought a great thermostatic mixing valve (see this post ) To add it to my bathroom, I had to tap into the lines for the existing sink. First I bought VERY expensive push fittings and a piece of pex line. I had to buy a T joint for each line ($10.24 ea) and then two adapters to make it fit the supply lines to the faucet ($6.85/ea) AND a piece of pex line ($7) for a total of almost $45 with tax! That's more than the faucet cost! Not counting the flex supply lines (I would need them for any installation) Talking to someone on a rv discussion board, they mentioned they used Flair-It fittings. Wow! What a discovery! I could buy one fitting for $6 to do the job of $16 of the expensive fittings and I wouldn't need that additional pipe! Thanks so much AnEv942!The fittings installed perfectly and EASILY! Tip - MAKE SURE YOU TIGHTEN THEM I had to use a wrench, not hand tight! Mine initially leaked furiously, but after tightening them, there has not been a drop of water! Love these fittings! If you're big and strong, you can possibly hand tighten them, but I had to use a wrench.

THIS made it possible to adapt a regular household toilet seat bidet in our travel trailer in our VERY small bathroom and not have any leaks! We have a regular porcelain troilet, thank god! LOVE the flair it and PEX type tubing and fittings for RV's Only safe way to go!
