Bought this to replace an older one. Flame is very even and easy to control for the deep fryer pot. Haven't used it for a water boil yet.

This is a really nice burner. We lost a burner years ago, and I needed another one for a seafood boil. My husband didn't have time to look for one so I did. I didn't know how many BTU's a good burner needed to have, so I just went big. 200,000 BTU's is a lot, but it works great, this thing puts out some serious heat.

Brewed a batch of beer two days after this arrived. So... it took awhile for us to get the water boiled, and I was worried that I bought a faulty unit or something. My brewing buddy told me both the valve on the tank and the regulator that came with the burner were wide open. Uh, no. The red knob for the burner was almost off!! After correcting that issue this thing cranked up and heated that water in no time.Granted, the markings on the red knob are a bit difficult to read, especially for a couple of old guys with bad eyesight.Anyway, this thing does the job for a homebrewer, and it would easily hold a ten gallon kettle. I had a five gallon on there and there was plenty of room to spare.

Tried it out for the first time! Fire and heat controls are easy, simple assembly (that’s already mostly complete) and the design is very sturdy and light weight. Reasonable price for such a nice burner. Would recommend for sure!

I bought this to fry Turkeys for Thanksgiving. It worked perfectly, very heavy duty and and stable. Puts out lots of BTU's.

This is my first Propane cooker so I'm by no means an expert BUT, this thing is awesome. I chose this one for the 200K BTU thinking more is better. I have used it once to boil a big pot of peanuts. I found that it only takes a small flame about 3/4" to boil water. The 200K BTU would probably melt the pot. The good news is the flame is very easy to adjust form barely on to the fires of hell by simply turning the regulator knob. The only assembly is connecting the hose to the tank and the burner, both hand tight. The frame is well built and very sturdy and stabile. I wanted something that wouldn't easily tip over and this fits the bill. It looks like it would be easy to adjust the air intake but there was no need since it was good out of the box. I read comments about the paint burning off from the heat but I didn't experience that with mine. But I have only used it for about 3 hours so time will tell.
