I bought two of these chairs (different styles at different times) and they are very sturdy. I gave the sturdiness rating and the support rating 5 stars but the comfort level 4 stars. I think that the cushioning could possibly be a tad bit thicker IMHO. As such, the chairs go from potentially being "extremely" comfortable (5 stars) to "quite" comfortable (4 stars). Since I bought them for sturdiness and support anyway, the "quite" comfortable rating more than suffices. These are really very good chairs.

I bought the chair to support my large bulk, which it does not comfortably but it keeps me from falling on the floor. I saw a review about the seat cushion not being comfortable, I would say the seat cushion is borderline useless, on top of the fact that mine came barely attached to the frame. When I got a screwdriver and reattached it most of the screws didn't even securely fasten the cushion to the frame and two fell straight out of the holes. I put a large cushion of my own on the chair and made due but I'm not impressed.

While the chair seems well made to handle excess weight, it is NOT comfortable to sit on for any length of time. There are metal bars on the inside edges of both sides of the seat that dig into one's legs. Additionally the seat "cushion"has NO cushioning; it feels like sitting in a board. Even a 3 inch cushion I added did not fix this. Finally, the chair back is not vertical but leans back at an awkward angle. It could have been great without these issues.

Very well made, sturdy, comfortable, and made to hold up to 1,500 pounds. I would recommend this chair to anyone heavy set. I am using it as my desk chair. Love that fact that it does not have arms. I can push it right up to my desk when not in use.

Nice and sturdy but a little low. The metal bar that supports the cushion is at the edge of this chair. It actually hurts to sit on it.

I am 6'2" tall and weigh around 350 so I am a large person. Bought this to replace a wooden kitchen chair that decided it couldn't take the strain of my big ole butt anymore and one of the legs cracked. It does sit about 1-2 inches shorter at the table, but I'm still comfortable. Chair is both wide enough and sturdy as a tank. Prefer the fabric over the vinyl for comfort and durability. Also the back isn't as high as the kitchen chairs but I'm comfortable.Major plus is the chair comes preassembled. Chair easily slides on the kitchen floor with no marks. I'm pretty sure this chair will last a while. Highly recommended.

Incredibly sturdy, not even a subtle wobble and I'm a HEAVY dude. Seat is wide, almost to a flaw but that's great if you've got a bigger behind. The only flaws are the small bars that stick out towards the front, which can dig into your thighs. I would HIGHLY suggest buying a generic chair cushions/pads that have the tie downs to secure them, that solves the hard seat and the prodding metal. That can also help with lumbar support if you need it, since the chair is neigh bare bones in the cushion department.Since there are work-arounds to all the flaws, overall I like it. I'd buy it again. Sure as heck beats paying six to eight times the price for a desk chair on wheels that can support the same weight and eventually develops squeaks and wobbles.
