I'm sure this flash changed photography. This kind of flashes opened the door to modern photography, very small, lightweight, VERY powerful, versatil and always works. I even broke my unit (it fell down in a shoot) and was able to repair it easily myself.

I am very please with Flashpoint eVOLV 200 Pro /Godox ad200 pro. I used to carry around heavy duty strobes, 600 w/s a pub, normal shot will take 3~4 strobes. If the studio is on the 3rd floor, you can imagine the pain. Then, here comes this little pocket wonder that actually replaced my 600 w/s strobes. Now, I pack the entire studio light set into 1 camera bag, and I don't have to pull wires on site anymore. I can also use strobe outdoor... I can go on and on... I have not tried out all the potentials yet.The power source, one charge, let me shoot 700 shots non-stop, granted that the battery is still fairly new and I am using 1/2 power, manual. With eTTL pre-flash, it may not last as much, but I don't like to use eTTL when it comes to strobe. I am old school on this one, manual all the way, with a strobe meter and the whole nine bit. During Black Friday Sales, I got one set from Amazon, one Godox AD200pro from the B shop, then falling in love with it and getting one more Flashpoint from the A shop :-) and still loving it.The control on the transmitter is functional and thoughtful 'somewhat'. Coming from Pocket Wizard, it is not all that intuitive to me initially, but it is definitely worth the investment. I also mix and match with the Godox v860ii c/s/o, as fill lights. They all work seamlessly as ONE system. Thus far, I have not seen any system flash offer this level of integration and compatibilities across that wide spectrum. Is it truly no compromise... well, not 100.00000%. With my old strobe at 600 w/s, I figured I only use 1/3 of the power most of the time, meaning that the full power of 1 eVolv 200 is able to satisfy my normal setting. What if I need more 200 w/s, here comes AD-B2 adapter, which effectively gives me 400 w/s, combining two eVolv with 2 bare bulbs. With that, the Flashpoint /Godox system replace 99.99% of the functionalities of my good old 600 w/s.To me, this is a game changer and definitely highly recommended!

Used this with Sony A7R3 and the Flashpoint R2 Pro 2.4GHz Transmitter. The flash synced all on its one with transmitter and I was ready to fire either in manual mode and TTL effortlessly. The power output is very impressive too. I was shooting indoors using a boom stand shooting through a clear umbrella diffuser. All in all pretty happy with this flash.

The buttons on the Pro are better than the old eVolv 200. This may seem minor but it is easier to turn it on and off. The dials work better. It turned on and flashed on the first attempt when synced to the Godox x2T trigger. I heard that to sync them you bring the camera, Trigger and evolv 200 Pro within a meter of each other. Set the channel and group on the Godox x2T and the Flashpoint Evolv 200 pro. Turn the camera on last. I'm not an engineer but it worked for me. I also ordered the Round head and accessories. The round head works better in a soft box than the fresnel head.

I love the power, versatility and portability of these lights. I have 4 units now and it's great not having to worry about tripping over cords but still having plenty of power.

This is a great off camera flash. It works great with the Godox system triggers and accessories. There are a lot of options to use this as a studio strobe or just a carry around bounce. My favorite way to use it so far is with the extension head attached to a monopod. I can hand hold it with a small soft box or umbrella attached with my left hand and shoot with my right easily. Itβs much like having an assistant at an event. It was bigger than I expected (larger than a large on camera flash) but the light power and recycle speed makes it worth it in spades. Itβs like having my studio strobes wherever I want and travel ready. Iβm switching all my lighting to Godox/Flashpoint because of this strobe.
