I ride a 48 with forward controls. I did have to get longer bolts for one side, but it all fit in flush when I torqued them to the proper spec.The up side? Good protection. It wasn't super frustrating to install. I think it's a little expensive (you can find bars almost identical for 40 bucks less).The down side? I'm about 5'9", and the bars extend out from the front, and not really much at all upward. When riding, I have to scoot forward in my seat to use them for "comfort" on the longer, straighter rides. This isn't too bad, but I've also noticed the shifter is fairly close to the bar on the left side. Perhaps that's my bike's adjustment, but my toe was having to kind of sneak in between the bar and under the shifter to up shift, which isn't ideal.That said, I may have a welder friend help me modify it so that the bars come out up over the foot control pegs, which is really where it should be in my opinion. They do make some bars like that, but it's only for the Street Bob.As for lean angle, I don't tend to go real hard on the curves, so I didn't really notice an issue with lean at all. If you're touching your foot pegs on a curve, it looks like the ends of the bars will touch down also, and unlike the pegs, the bars don't move, which could possibly cause a low side if you're a real speed demon.All in all, it's good, and does what it claims. The included hardware should contain longer bolts, but I don't know if you'd want to use bolts from an Amazon order for something like this (the mount bolts for the foot controls are supposed to be grade 8, and torqued to 50 ft. pounds).I'm certainly not attempting to dissuade anyone from considering it, just know what you're getting.

This is one solid crash bar/ highway bar that fit my 04’ sportster like a glove. They did a nice job welding this together and powder coating looks great! Did I mention that this is one solid chunk of steel? I am impressed with the heft of this bar is which is a good thing for engine guards.Installation is intuitive and painless. The pegs are just in the right spot to get comfy especially since I am running mid controls for more fun in the corners. Pegs are not the most attractive I have ever seen but they kind of blend in with the rest of the bar. They are growing on me slowly.If you want to stretch out on a sportster this bar is recommended.

And looks good too! I like this style better than say the mustache style. Looks real tuff and a great place for your feet when cruising. Seems a bit pricey but the good stuff always does so I'm still happy with the value. Pay attention to the application fitment, they probably know what they are talking about. I made the mistake of ordering this for an '03 1200C and it doesn't fit. But I like it enough I'm not sending it back, I have friends I can pass it on to down the road. They'll be quite pleased I'm sure and I'll recommend this tuff puppy to anybody with the right fitment. Shout out to the manufacturer, good job. Maybe make some other applications possible. Wish it fit my Street 500 even though it would never see my feet on it. Some stereo speakers maybe yeah...definitely some lights.

The crash bar is nice looks good on the bike. Installing it went well but only problem I had was i needed longer bolts. Went for a nice cruise had no issues on the ride with it. The Bar is comfortable for kicking your legs up. Iam satisfied with it good deal.

Product is really heavy duty and very well made. Easy install, and was even able to install my lower fairing on it.But best of all customer service is great! Very responsive and helpful.If there were 10 stars would give this product and company 10 stars.
