I've used spring loaded pop-up style guitar switching controls for a long time. Once upon a time they were expensive, hard to source and often unavailable for stretches of time. The last one I used has lasted for fifteen years, and is still going strong. Sadly, that well known European vendor no longer makes the product. So, when these import versions appeared, I was cautiously optimistic. The price was right, and they looked o.k. I was waiting to find some for my next custom Stratocaster build.Sadly, it turns out that they are not alright. I installed two of these in that Strat build - a very complex wiring scheme that took some hours of design and prototyping, and then additional hours under the stereo microscope to wire up. (This setup has everything - anti-hum coil, split humbucker, coil tap, phase control, a dial-a-bucker knob, treble bleed, etc.)Foolishly, I selected two of these controls for this complex build. The build went well and the results were good. They were perfectly silent and functional for the first month. But it is now four months in, and I've used the guitar for exactly four performances. The volume pot is scratchy and failing, and now the dial-a-bucker is also showing signs of the same failure. The other pot in this circuit, built at the same time, using the same materials in the same construction environment is a US sourced part. It works perfectly and is doing fine.My electronic experience goes back fifty years, with almost forty years working professionally in the industry as an audio engineer and studio facility manager, designer, and operator. I am very meticulous in my builds, and especially in my solder work. I use premium tools and supplies, and I normally use only the best US made switchcraft jacks, CTS pots, & top-line US sourced pickups. I design and build tube amplifiers for a select group of clients. I did not spray or lube or overheat or anything else these parts. I'm not guessing about this failure, o.k? The pots are BAD...right out of the box with virtually zero use.I'm sorry to have to report that I would avoid them. They just are not up to the strain of professional or even casual amateur use. These pots are failing, and for no apparent reason. I had high hopes that like some other imported stuff, the quality was on the rise. Not these - two stars. They are what they say they are, but are not reliable versions of this clever idea.

I love the idea, but it’s really easy to engage. I may switch to just a mini switch. Push pulls are a bit cumbersome to me and thought this would be a solution. These are built great and work great, just not what I was looking for. 5 star for the product, 3 start for what I needed.

Li ho fatti montare sulla mia Fender Stratocaster messicana HSH per splittare i due humbucker e funzionano perfettamente. Sono soddisfatto.

Bought these by accident. Like the push pull function, so bought a few more, but it will break. Just putting the washer on twisted the shaft out of place. The push pull also sticks and sometimes wont work. Went to add two capasitors for a duel tone and the thing just stopped working. I solder many pots and its not from over heating etc bournes pots are the better option. Dont waste the money.

Coil split works well so volume remains same when split or humbucker. Pleased with the result with Seymour Duncan Pus

These seem like higher quality trimmers with a smooth action. In the Fender Strat Pro 2 the second tone control is a push/push action yet most of the switches fender sells are push/pull, so if you want to keep the original action you may have to look elsewhere and these trimmers are a perfect option for these situations. The other perfect job for these is if you are turning an ES-335 into a Brian May setup these are a faster action than the push/pull style of trimmer. When you are playing a solo and want to split the neck pickup for a crunchy sound you don't want to be fiddling with the switch (integrated in the trimmer therefore the tone or volume knob, just give it a light slap and your in the sound you want and as quick as your in you can get out. This variable resistor is perfect for splitting humbuckers or if you have a pickup with a coil tap you can switch between the two leeds.

These are great pots, i re wired my schecter with two of these and one of the ex volume pots as a tone pot, they work very well, i cant talk about reliability because i just finished the project, but i do hear push push pots are less durable since theyre spring loaded. Do simpler beginner friendly soldering first though, DPDT pots are not easy. Also, make sure you get long shafts if you have a carved up, or if you just dont have a pickguard.

UPDATE: So, I contacted this seller late yesterday and after making them aware of the issues I had with this product. They issued a full refund for this product that was purchased months ago regardless of the return policy without a request to return the faulty items. I would buy from this seller again. Great customer service.Yeah...I just went to finally use these, and neither one of them works. One will not push in after being pulled out, and the others restive wafer doesn't work. It's either zero or 486K..pick one.So, I would have to say that the quality of these Push-Pull 500K pots is...not worth a hoot. If I hadn't waited so long to use them and gone past the 30 day return window, I'd be returning them.Let me save ya some greif. Don't buy these. Try a different brand if you can find one.Sincerely,Disappointed in his pot. )-8

I love stumbling on the new trend of push push pots, instead of push pull. Center ground my humbuckers for an instant single coil sound. These sweep clean with no noise and push push with a good feel.

After few weeks one of the pots became scratchy. So adjusting a guitar pickup volume becomes impossible to maximum as it starts to produce noises or loses signal all together.

Se sienten bastante sólidos y de calidad a pesar de ser baratos. Mejores que otros pots económicos que he comprado. Me sorprendió su calidad, es bastante buena.

Like most of the other reviewers, I was hesitant with a cheaper, unknown brand. But cheaper doesn't always translate to poor quality. Yes, you get what you pay for, but if you also get what you expected, that's a win.I was facing two obstacles in upgrading a brand new Epiphone Les Paul Special VE. One, it is an inexpensive guitar, to begin with, albeit a very nice, quality one. And since the end game here is to sell the guitar, I had to watch my budget. Second, the cavity where the pots live is very tight. The Fleor pots fit both needs. And the fact that they are push-push, as opposed to the typical push-pull type, was an added bonus. Now the Epi Les Paul has the best of both worlds: warm, loud, singing humbuckers and Tele-sounding single coils. All with the push of a coil-splitting button. I am very happy with the results. I will probably keep her around for a month before putting her up for sale. Only time will tell how well they hold up. And oh, I took one star away because the Fleor pots have extremely small soldering tangs for the switch circuit. With a little coaxing, the tiny holes will barely accept the typical guitar 22 gauge wire, making for a frustrating assembly. And, because of the very small size, you'll need top soldering skills once you do get the wire fitted. But then again, they did fit nicely into the guitar's opening, with plenty of room for the wire. If I run into a similar situation in the future, I'll consider buying these again. However, if you have the working space, save yourself a lot of headaches and get yourself some CTS or other make quality pots.
