The "1984" system is a true-to-the-original reissue that features brass fine tuners, old style housing and locked in swing arm, bridge mounting wood screws, and a fat solid brass block for incredible tone and sustain. Available in a variety of nut sizes that will fit practically any electric guitar, the tremolo kit contains the bridge, locking nut, springs & claw, mounting studs, and all hardware necessary for installation.

I bought one a while ago as a replacement for the Floyd special on my Charvel, which I use a lot to play live. This bridge can take a beating, it is a real workhorse. If well setup works great. Just bought a second one for my EVH 5150 guitar replica. this second time the unit came without the nut, don't know if that is the standard but it is kind of o bummer as I had to purchase it separately. At first the term arm bushing got loose, hat to tighten it and was not an easy job. Ended up scratching the chrome painting on it.

Iām really disappointed as there is a huge chip in the brass. I feel like quality control should be checked before letting these leave.

If you don't have this Floyd Rose then you need to order one now. First of all the customer service was great. I had some confusion at first about the nut not coming with this set. Well, customer service steered me in the right direction and I ordered one. I also ordered the posts and studs and replaced the ones my guitar came with since they were a little too small for this system. This is my first time swapping one out and it was a breeze honestly. Solid quality and is made in Germany. Just takes a little patience. If you dont know how to set one up check some videos online. I used a bridge block and it kept my bridge steady while i strung my guitar and tuned it. If not the bridge will compensate and pull towards the nut if you don't use the block. If I had another guitar that needed one I would definitely buy another one no questions asked.

I bought this to replace the cheap bridge on my evh wolfie and this made a huge difference in tone and tuning. The workmanship of the originals are far superior to the import bridges many manufacturers are using now. Get one and hear the difference
