Just got it and it seems like it seems like it's built well, but it's tight inside to shove in my 2 piece 5 wt rod and reel. Not sure why they found it necessary to have an inner liner that is fabric as I really have to work on getting my rod shoved in there all the way as the rod gets caught on the fabic. If I ever had my fly on it and shoved it in, I'd never get it back out as it would definitely get caught on fabric. I've never had a rod holder/cover before so maybe this is the best there is, but I wish it were easier to put rod in - it's kind of like how just about every tent bag is just big enough and you have to fight every time you put them in. I would return if it was easy to do so - its not so I will probably keep but I will keep looking for sure.

I got tired of changing out my 8 wt and 5 wt rods to target different species and decided it was time to buy a second travel case. This case is fantastic. My two piece rod for great and is protected. The dual zippers is great for extra gear including flies, tippet, and leaders. Honestly wish I had two as my first case was a cheap case from Cabela’s.

This is one of those products you wish you had invented. This is an excellent fly rod and case for a single 9 foot (2-piece) rod or shorter with saddlebags!I use outside pockets for extra tippets, leaders, reels, etc.This rod/reel case is very well made. It is has an ID of 1.5 inches, therefore you will have no problems placing your rod and reel into this case. With this rod/reel case, you do not need to remove your reel each time.The overall feel of this rod/reel case is efficient and very well made. For example, there is both a hand-strap and a shoulder strap.Excellent design and product.

I bought this after investing in a new fly rod and reel for fishing. New at this sport of fly fishing, I should have purchased this to protect my delicate fishing equipment. The case is an exact fit for my two piece rod and reel. Everything fits within the case protecting all equipment. This is well made to protect fly fishing equipment.

Very nice product, I wasn't sure about this after seeing others around but I'm really impressed. Very durable and well made. I love that it has two good size pockets that zipper up, one on each side with a netted cargo holder on one of the pockets. It fit my fly rod which is a 2 pc 9ft all snug with my reel. Highly recommend it.

Great case. I was looking for a Rod/Reel case that would allow me to leave the reel on and the added storage pockets on the sides are a major bonus. I imagine the cost is low because its a fairly simple object to make with affordable materials. I was worried that it wouldn't be high quality since it was a lot cheaper than something from say Orvis. This thing is nice, zippers are smooth, the rod protection is significant (I think its a big piece of pvc tubing down the length of it) and the pockets are big enough for another reel, a large fly box and other misc things. I'd buy another one in a heart beat for another rod if I needed it.
