We had tried other spiral blades. They were thicker than the Flying Dutchman blades and would last for one or to small projects. These blades are thinner, smaller gap, and the cut is very smooth. We have only used one so far. It does not break like the others did. We have no idea how long the blades last as we haven’t had one break yet. One blade has done more work than a pack of the other blades. So the cost per blade is higher, but they a very inexpensive as each one lasts so long.

I truly love these blades, when they work. I Purchased this pack and it seems every Third one brakes while changing blades. It just snaps off on the end. So it gets thrown out with out getting to use it. Now when you do get one that works, its like cutting butter and it lasts a while before needing changed.

These blades work very well in my old Delta jigsaw, tested on 3/4” furniture-grade plywood, no problems slicing through it precisely, although one must pay special attention to maintaining one’s line, as these blades are designed to cut in a full 360° arc, slow and easy does it. Also, insure you mount the blade in the correct orientation top to bottom, otherwise you get a frayed edge on top. Overall, very satisfied with these blades!
