What are the symptoms of insufficient motorcycle cylinder pressure?
- 1. The inner wall of the cylinder is pulled into deep grooves, resulting in a decrease in compression pressure and loss of power performance.
- 2. The downward movement of combustible mixture increases the pressure in the crankcase, and in severe cases, it can cause an explosion in the crankcase.
- 3. The exhaust pipe emits severe smoke, the engine noise is abnormal, and the engine cannot work properly or even stalls.
What are the reasons for insufficient cylinder pressure?
- 1. The engine cooling system overheats due to leakage, lack of water, and failure to replenish in a timely manner.
- 2. The piston ring breaks and scratches the cylinder wall.

It is functional but some of the gasket surfaces are not finished well and had to be sanded a bit to get a good seal. One of the valve cover plugs will not seal at all and i had to RTV it on. This is the second kit like this that i ordered from FLYPIG. it is a bit of a gamble as to what will actually be in the box as far as gaskets and other parts. This kit came with 2 pistons and ring sets. 4 head gaskets, no gasket between the case and cylinder. some gaskets that i don't even think go to this style of engine and was missing gaskets for the oil passages. the major components were there so it was able to get the job done with it and other parts i had lying around.

Before you order this for your 110cc TaoTao ATV motor, make sure to measure your jug from gasket surface to gasket surface. This jug measures 68mm in length from gasket surface to opposing surface. Some TaoTao's jugs are about 10mm longer than that because the stroke is longer. Such was the case in my application and I didn't notice when assembling. After assembly I realized the piston was smashing in to the cylinder head/valves. Making it worse, the timing sprocket had less teeth so timing was out and valves were opened at TDC. You can imagine what happens with the piston makes contact with an open valveDecently built product that would have been great for the right application. The seller should update their description to include the length of the cylinder bore so a buyer can easily measure theirs to ensure this product is a match.
