This came neatly folded and packed in a tough, reusable fabric bag. The stand collapses when not in use. It has an auxiliary peg for a clarinet, soprano sax, etc., that can be quickly screwed on or off. There’s very little assembly required — which is great, because there are no instructions included. The mechanism, which may be familiar to some of you, is sturdy and simple. The forks that rest the instrument are well padded. And it fits my C Melody saxophone with split bell keys. With the C Mel or an alto sax, it’s quite stable.Three gripes:1) When I removed the stand from its packaging, a small, twisted metal disc came spinning out. Because there were no instructions included, I wasn’t immediately sure whether it was needed for assembly. It wasn’t, but I don’t like finding manufacturing waste in product packaging.2) There were four adhesive pads included. I have no idea where they're supposed to be applied. The stand already has rubber feet. I guess instructions would have helped.3) NO INSTRUCTIONS WERE INCLUDED.You should note, the stand unfolds to an upright position with only one angle. In my case, I found the stand to be a good fit for my alto sax and my C Melody sax -- but not such a good fit for my tenor sax. The stand angle is too upright, too perpendicular, for the tenor. I certainly wouldn't try it with anything bigger.Maybe there's an adjustment somewhere I'm not seeing. Instructions would help with this, if so.
