Not impressed with quality. The fur is hard and prickly. Besides everything it's a kind of puppet, not regular stuffed toy. Disappointed.

i use this with my puppet shows for Sunday school and Children's Church, it does get there attention. it does shed a good bit when new so you may want to use a damp brush and give it a good brushing to remove the loose fur

Sure, he's cute in a misshapen poorly constructed way. He definitely does not look like the puppet advertised. His eyes and ears are offset. The advertised puppet appears to have a seam across the snout to give shape. This does not have that. The advertised puppet also appears to have a different material for the nose and paws.Still, he's growing on me.

3 things you need to know if you are going to buy this item:1. If you are an adult with relatively large hands, the interior of the puppet will be very tight.2. The way it is designed, ONLY your thumb and pinky finger will move the front paws of the puppet but all you will be able to do is "clap." You will not be able to move the paws any other direction unless you have triple-jointed fingers (:3. There is only room for one other of your fingers for the mouth if you have large hands and you will only be able to move the lower part of the mouth up & down.Nice toy - very soft -- but seems to be made for smaller hands. My granddaughter loves it when we play so I gave it 4 stars. Would have given 5 stars if had larger interior room.

This is a great toy and my daughter adores it. Large enough inside to put my adult hand in and manipulate comfortably, but a great size for my toddler to cuddle. I’ve handed down some of my Folkmanis puppets to my girls (most of which are almost 20 years old) because they are in such good shape and excellent quality. I love this brand and will continue to buy from them!

Baby niece in love with this retriever puppy puppet, so it passes the toddler test! Would leave the puppet with the toddler unsupervised, however, as most wouldn't do, particularly in the case of my niece who's given to hugging the puppy and then performing the bite-test of excitement on the pup's ears and face.

This puppet is AMAZING! It is so plush and well made that it is the perfect stuffed animal! Add to it that it is a puppet and you have the perfect gift!! My five year old won't keep his hands off of it (or should I say, "out of it!"), and I have found my eighteen year old son goofing around with his younger siblings with it. You won't go wrong to order this keeper!
