KIND NOTES:
1)DISCONNECT THE BATTERY CABLE FIRST!
2)Plz insert the screwdriver head 90°vertically into the head when twisting it, otherwise, the screws may be stripped.
3)Make sure ALL the connectors are plugged in properly, there will be a "click" sound.
4)Make sure the metal plate over the connectors is settled properly, not too tight or too loose.
5)Test the screen first after connecting all cables, make sure everything is good before installing it on the phone.
6)Please use the original home button to retain the touch ID, and transfer the back metal plate, earpiece, front-camera, sensors from the original iPhone 8/SE2020 screen to the new screen.

1) What can I do to retain the Touch ID of my phone?
1. Touch ID only works with the original home button assembly for user protection, you have to transfer it carefully from your original iPhone 8/SE2020 LCD screen and install it on our screen correctly.
2. If the touch id doesn’t work after using the original home button, please try to reset the Touch ID on your iPhone 8/SE2020 setting.
2) There are black/white dots or lines on the screen, what should I do?
This may be caused during transportation, incorrect installation, or incorrect usage of the screen, please do not press too hard on the screen or drop it during installation or daily use.
3) Why does the touch function can't work properly after connecting all the cables?
The touch issue might be caused because the cables are not installed correctly. Please try to unplug all the connectors on the logic board. Then use dust wipes or cotton swabs to wipe all the sockets carefully and reinstall the screen. Make sure you connect all the connectors correctly with a "click" sound and make sure the metal plate over the connectors of the screen for iphone 8/SE2020 are screwed down properly.

The GOOD first:- I really was happy when this screen arrived because it included all of the tools I needed. I had done many battery replacements before, but did not have the itsy-bitsy 3 lobe screwdriver to get at the home button. It comes with a good magnetic pad for your screws. This kit even comes with a new seal AND a screen protector... you might pay this much for a screen protector alone, so it is a great value!- The instructional video here on Amazon was great. It did miss a few steps, but I figured it out. Don't forget to peel off the protective tape on the new screen - in about 4 places. Also, In my case, I did have to remove the thin metal shield from my original phone (the video suggests that some shipments might already come with that plate). I had to use a hair-drier to remove both the bundle by the camera as well as the home button. If you don't use the hair-drier, it would be a nightmare and you risk tearing the cable. I had my wife hold the hair-drier on both glued down ribbons, as I GENTLY pushed with the spudger. Once it hits a certain temperature, they come off extremely easily. Before closing the case (and effectively the one-time-seal), I turned on the phone to verify everything worked. It did.- The screen worked, the touch worked; everything works after using this screen.The BAD:- Everything in the kit is cheap. I have other kits for taking apart phones, and while everything in this kit worked fine, my other kits are actually better. Nevertheless, if this is a one-time repair, you should be fine.- The most important problem: The quality of the display is quite a bit less than my previous screen / my spare phone screen. It is not as bright either. One thing I noticed is that after installing the screen, the phone automatically changed my settings from "Less Warm" to "Very Warm" under the night-shift setting. By putting the setting all the way to "Less Warm," That helped quite a bit. Nevertheless, a side-by-side comparison of my two phones reveals that the new screen looks "dingy" and a lot less vibrant. My photo (Attached) doesn't make it quite as apparent as it is in real life. The new colors are depressing. Also, it is not quite as bright as the previous screen. When I go to my settings on the phone with the new screen, the option "True Tone" is not available. On my other phone (with original iPhone screen), I do have the "True Tone" option. This might be why this screen looks so depressing.Summary:In spite of my slight disappointment in the brightness / colors, everything else was excellent and the value was superb. This is for my spare phone, and given the age of the phone, it does not make sense to pour a lot of money into repairing it. I give a 5-star review. I'll update my review in the future if there is any fault in the screen in the future.

Bought this for my sons phone when he fell, and his phone screen broke. It was complicated to use for me, but my son understood. We worked together, and were pleased this worked! The screws are so tiny, make sure to work on flat surface and screws can’t get lost!

I bought it to repair my smashed SE-2 so I could get the contacts off of it, but my replacement SE-3 was invaded by a runaway key that snuck into the protective case and broke that screen too, and I fixed it with this screen... works perfectly!This kit has the tools and the adhesive needed for the job including a mag-board to keep the screws in order. I used an up-side-down clothes iron with several layers of cloth for a warmer, and followed one of many YouTube instructions, and, although the tiny screws were a challenge in my great-big blacksmith's hands, the process was a success.I'll buy another for the SE-2 and a spare for when disaster strikes again.

“right side of the screen was damaged from the bottom to the top and the home button wasnt working. ive installed dozens of screens and this is the first that came broken. insanely disappointed.”Changed to 5 stars due to excellent customer service and getting my issues resolved!*** This is my 2nd review. The new screen came in quickly and looks great! The colors are vibrant and very clear. The only problem I have is that the screen replacement doesn’t recognize my home button. I know it’s not damaged as I re installed the button on the original cracked screen and it recognizes it. I’m keeping it for now as I really don’t care anymore lmao. Thanks though!

The screen managed to Crack off from UNDER THE tampered glass screen!!! Smh. Very cheap if you ask me. Phone fell less than 5-8in from My hand to the ground. How does it Crack that easy.

It was a relatively easy replacement of the screen and it all features worked perfectly. The little magnet pad was a great addition to previous kit's I've tried for other phones to keep track of the screws. The colors are very far from the original and they all seem more gray and thus much less vibrant. The colors are a shame as the rest of the product seemed great. Touch sensitivity and overall brightness of the display is great. My score is for the colors of the screen as I find that to be a key feature which is too far from the original.

Ordered to replace my iphone 2020 2nd generation SE screen, and then reordered after I broke it a second time. I remember after the original replacement that the colors were slightly different, but honestly I can't say that it's any worse than the factory original. The kit included everything needed to replace the screen and everything worked perfectly. I'll try to not break my screen again, but would definitely order again if needed.
