We got this for our son mainly because he loves sensory items. We have had it since Christmas and whenever he takes it in the car, I see him spinning the little beads. I was afraid that the beads would come off, but so far so good. The actual cable charges just as well as a normal charger

I’ve been using this charge for awhile now and I’m actually really surprised by the durability!! My toddler has yanked and tugged and played with it while I wasn’t looking. My ONLY complaint about this charger is I wish it was longer! It’s beauitful and girly and everything I wanted! Totally a purchase I don’t regret.

Low cost charging cords from unknown brands can be really variable in quality. Frequently they are poorly constructed, break after very short periods of use, and tend to be made of bizarrely rigid, brittle material that refuses to bend. That is even more true of these decorative styles, they value form over function. I honestly just ordered this because the design matched the look of my current desk setup and I needed a lightening cord for it. I was not really expecting it to get a lot of use or to be of any decent quality. I am actually really pleased with this item though. Its a very durable, well designed cord despite being so cute.The cord is thick but not at all rigid or brittle, its easy to bend and reposition without breaking it. The beads are cute and well attached. The best feature is the reinforced area right at the lightening plug, thats exactly where charging cords normally break as its the most frequently bent potion. This little reinforced rubber piece prevents that problem completely which also prevents placing stress on your charging port. I don't know why more manufacturers don't include these, they work great.In short, this is actually a very well made, functional cord. Plus it looks really cute, like those little candy bracelets.
