This vent appears to be well constructed and should last a long time however since it does not state, or at least I failed to see it, the diameter of the vent I am unable to use. My opening is larger than this vent is meant for. I am not saying anything bad about it since it likely will work well for other applications just not mine. It was my mistake not looking more carefully but further specifications state the "box" is 3.1x3.1x3.1.
