This module is as Ford product. I am glad I spent the money on it. It has lasted 3 times longer the Dorman's module. I have learned to put gorilla on top to keep the rocks out of between the frame and the module. I also spray it with fluid film to prevent corrosion. 3 years so far it works great.

The product was made by ford specifically for my truck. I liked how the connection was upgraded to avoid or minimize galvanic action and corrosion of the unit.

This part is incompatible with 2004-2008 F150. The white plastic in the center of the part prevents connection. I bought it because of the price. My advice, just go on EBay and spend the extra $50 for a genuine Ford part.

Mine came with the standoffs as pictured. Don't trust the aftermarket stuff readily available at the major corporate stores. Even though Ford poorly designed the mounting the first time around they've fixed it by including standoffs now.
