中学から吹いてきました。4.5では、普段使っている3.5のリードより薄いのでは?と思いました。でも、吹きやすさは抜群！木のリードよりとても音が薄く聞こえました。でも、ジャズだと雰囲気はピッタリで、これらかジャズを吹くときに使っていきたいと思いました。プラリードのケース。ケースにも使えますが、取り外しができるようにノリ以外のものでつけてもらえるとありがたいと思います。これから、改良を進めてもらうととても良いものができると思うので、期待しています！

Definitely a step up from other synthetic reeds. Nice fat tone and not too bright.

While this is a first impression, primarily, I can’t stress enough how good this feels when compared to other synthetics I’ve used.I’ve tried the Legère Signature and the Forestone Black Bamboo also. The Legère was a bit buzzy for me, and I found the vibrations just made the edges a bit uncomfortable for me to play (I know some people love them). The Black Bamboo has a nice dark sound, but it tends to wimp out a bit towards the end of a longer playing session (it was supposed to be the equivalent of 3, but I think it’s more like a 2 by the end).I decide to try a White Bamboo 4.5. I had been using La Voz mediums, and really liked them, but was a bit discouraged by them after a pretty lousy box. This White Bamboo seems to bring everything I liked about the Black Bamboo (comfortable to play, no problems with vibrations or buzzing), but it also seems to hold up during a play session. The sound is nice and full and sounds pretty much like a natural reed to my ears. I would say that it might be little closer to a 3.5 or MAYBE a 4, in terms of strength, which is just what I was hoping for.Maybe the the upper register isn’t QUITE as nuanced as a good natural reed, but it still sounds good, doesn’t wimp out, and the low notes are nice and full with no buzz. I’m really happy with this reed so far.Update: 8.5 months later I’m finally replacing it with exactly the same thing. While I didn’t practice or play constantly for the whole stretch, I used the same reed through 2 concert seasons with my band. Only now am I starting to have some problems with overtones on G# above the staff (same issue I have all the time with weaker reeds). Still sounds pretty great on everything else, and not at all like a synthetic. I’d give this 6 stars if I could!

以前ブラックバンブーを練習用で使用してました。樹脂製リード特有のピッチの上ずりが気になり本番では使用しません。ブラックバンブーよりもストレートな音ですが、側鳴りしてる感じです。PA環境があるステージではありだと思いますが、ない場合はまず使わないですね。練習用としては、無難かなあと思います。レジェールのように、交換可能ならもっと良いですね。厚さはあくまで参考程度なので、買ってみないとわかりません。ある意味ギャンブルですね。吹奏楽の方には、まずおススメしません。
